Default Recycling CDs/DVD's

I literally have Thousands of OLD Blank CD's and DVD's that are utterly useles to me now that i have flash drives and large caapacity external harddrives. Is there some kind of program or a way to recycle all of these cd's?

Paper mache balloons, glue on shattered disc pieces to make a disco ball?

Give them to someone that might want them?

Coasters?

Give them to a school to use in art projects or something.

Make a crossbow that fires cd's at extremely high speeds. Use it to kill AOL executives.
