That is simply an initiative to be placed on the ballot for November, getting the required signatures will not automatically make it into a law, even if all the signatures were acquired the bill would be thrown out by senate.

5 days is not even close to being enough time. Next time someone starts a petition like this, people should know about it first and it should be better organized so anyone can sign it.

As I've said before, if one state legalizes it, that starts a chain reaction and eventually the DEA can't do anything about it because too many people will be smoking it and growing it. The DEA does not have enough resources for that many people.

In order to get it completely legalized, it has to start with one state at a time. More people should be using incinerators in their shops like that place in the UK.

I think it'll take about 20 years before it'll be completely legal. So if you're going to make money from it, you have plenty of time. They've got a school for being a medical marijuana grower too, and of course most of those people don't want it completely legal.... It can be legalized much sooner but it will take a lot of effort. If it were legal then maybe genetically modified strains like the ones from GW will be common, and THC levels around 80% will be normal. That's a heck of a shortcut to potency.


That would be so much healthier for the lungs. If the public does obtain a strain like that before it's legal, that'll just make the legalization come much sooner.
