what the fuck is the deal about whoever won the last round, plays no matter what?

I play pool like maybe twice a month, sometimes more. Me and a friend played doubles against two others, and we won. The next game, we sat out, and the people that we beat left. Two other teams played, and my friend and I came back to the table. No one played on the table for like 10 minutes. My friend and I were gonna play for money against two other dudes, until the last team that won the game inwhich we sat out, came over and said "what are you doing we won the last game so now you play us".

Im like...WTF? I told him that we won the game before his game, and he wasnt playing for 10 min so we are gonna get a game started. He said "no the fuck you arent...we won last game so we play no matter what." I said listen...you can sit out this one game while we play these other guys, then you can have the table. He wanted no part of my plan, so he got in my face. Quickly, his chick came over and pulled him away like the bitch he is. He even did one of those cheesy "you are lucky my girl is here" line...fucking pathetic.

ANYWAYS...what the hell is up with this? Just because someone wins the last game on the pool table, that means that they get to play the next game no matter who it is, even if you dont know the people? That sounds really lame to me.

I dont even care...if this happens again I will do what the fuck I want to do, especially if no one is using the table like in this incident.

I forsee a lot of ass kickings in your future do something but once a month and you expect the regulars to bend to your will?

Its 'King of the Table' the newcomer pays & plays against the 'King'

But yeah, you should check whats happening on the table first.
Otherwise you have to pay & play to get the table & then play your own game/s.
