And why does everyone talk like it's hard to break through on salvia, I haven't even used a torch lighter or anything as I've read online, and I've still broken through all 3 times I smoked it...

It's a different sort of feeling when you're blazed and you take a few salvia hits. Personally I liked it better than salvia by itself just because it made me more aware of my changing mental state. That "rushing/chills" feeling immediately after hitting the salvia is different when you're really stoned just because you are less aware of the physical feeling and more aware of your changing thought processes which after a few seconds gives way to an intense trip.

i was wondering about this subject... in my experience salvia builds tolerance pretty rapidly...me and my friends sat around all day blazing and i tripped twice and it didnt really work after that....well it did work, i did break through, but it was much milder, but still breaking though, if that makes sense.

I never liked it. I have done it many times and broke through a cupple but most of the time it feels like i just got knocked out. I allways get this sweetey uneasy feeling like i am somewere i shouldennt be feeling. The times i do trip its like a dream whan i come back down i rember a little bit for like 10 sec. then forget it. Weed does seem to help get like 20x or 40x smoke a bowl or so then pack 1/2 to 1 bowl of salvia.

salvia, as far as I know, has a reverse tolerance. I've never, ever experienced tolerance effects at all with it, even smoking several times a day for a week (that was FUN)

I just broke through for my first time about 30 (or so?) minuets ago (I'm still having a little bit of trouble with time).

It may make it easier to break through I'm not sure... but what I just experienced.... gahh... lets just say theres no fucking way I could even tell if I was stoned or not :D

You pretty much don't exist in this reality anymore.... it's fucking scary.... but awesome at the same time.

BTW breaking through isn't hard. Heck I used a freaking soda bong and a cheep lighter and it only took 2 deep hits.

hell yes, I am a veritable salvia fiend. it's not for everyone, though. you have to be in a very special psychological state to enjoy salvia in such a manner. and no, that psychological state is NOT called schizophrenia.

You shouldn't mix anything with an intense drug like Salvia, unless you smoke a cigarette after your salvia trip or something like that.

I know people who have smoked it multiple times and got nothing from it besides feeling a little "off" and I know people who had their knot rocked after the first hit. Maybe the people that say it's difficult haven't had the experience yet or had to try multiple times before they got what they wanted.

I agree with some of the posters that say it's not exactly "fun", to me it's more of an interesting experience, that's most fun when recounting the insane trip.

Last time I smoked it my friend was watching me and everything just became all stretched and blurred, but I could still make out where everything was, and I felt like everything was caving in on me so I quickly ran out my porch outside, and I felt free, like it brought me back to reality realizing that my house in fact couldn't cave in on me since I was outside. My friend kept asking me why I ran outside and I just kept saying "It feels like everything's tied together" which sounds pretty retarded looking back. Man, shit's fucked up

This. I think I might've read somewhere that a certain percentage of people are just "immune" to salvinorin...? But all I can say for sure is I've taken some huge rips off large bowls of 30x and gotten nothing except sweaty, feeling like I was spinning backwards, heavy but loose feeling limbs, and sort of blurry vision, no psychological trip or anything, all body high.

Some people are too retarded to hold their hit in long enough. And some people should switch to a tincture or powerful standardized extract and learn how to smoke correctly. Some people have a naturally higher tolerance to certain substances than other people.

if one had something like a pyrex test tube that could handle the heat of a torch lighter could salvia be vaporized? not to hijack a thread or anything, the question has probably be sufficiently answered, i just don't feel like making another thread for a simple question...

IIRC salvia can be vaporized but at a much higher heat than marijuana.

it would be tough because its probably a very slim amount of degrees between vaporization and combustion.

yea, but i imagine with the flame not being in direct contact with the plant matter you would probably be able to get a bit better results than using a conventional pipe... or just take the plant matter out of the equation, put an insanely small amount of crystal in there... i would rather have pure crystal than plant matter, it would be hard to gauge the dose but i guess you could mix it in with something inert to be able to gauge it better...

so i tried it ealier. Shit was nuts, its hard to put it into words. I smoked out of this $20 small plastic bong i bought today, and packed like half a bp of 50x and smoked the whole thing. I held it in as long as i could then right after i exhaled i felt extremly stoned and i couldnt balance or control myself, then i brokethrough and it was insane. i was in the woods on a bench with a tripsitter, and i remember trying to get up to leave "this place" and my friends body was underground and i could see his head, and he was like turning the ground and made me sit down in the bench. I saw carnie type ppl, freaky. I was talking to someone or something that resembled an elf or a gnome of some sort, its hard to remember. i dnt even remember most of it. Within 20 minutes it was all over, and i just felt really stoney. Then after another 10 or 15 mins i was back totally sober.

Idk if id try it again, maybe in a few years down the road. Its not that i didnt like it, but i didnt love it either. It wasnt scary, then again i couldnt feel any emotion whatsoever wherever i was. Afterword I have no desire to smoke weed anymore, or doing anything really, The interest is just gone. Ive been in an extremly good mood since i smoked(2hours ago) and im feeling really connected to ppl and things.. I wouldve preferred a 15x or 20x for my first time, but 50x was the only thing available without driving my lazy ass to the nearest headshop (30 or 40 mins).

before i tripped i kept telling myself to accept it and dont fight it. Thats all i was thinking as i was holding in and inhaling. Also i was in a very good mindset before this, my friend and i had alot of fun throughout the whole day. And we made a great playlist to listen to for the 30 or so minutes before i smoked it. I think this helped alot. Im glad i did alot of research on salvia beforehand too. Its def not something to just get fucked up on.

Edit: I know a buncha ppl who have tried it recently. Most didnt like it, they were terrified and had an awful time. However these ppl knew very little or nothing about the powerful drug, and i wouldnt exactly classify them as deep thinkers or spiritual in any way.
