Trouble with FreeBSD
I installed FreeBSD and I selected the full package with everything included which includes X11 but something went wrong and it couldn't install the X11 systems. Said it couldn't install X.org or something like that. Anyway I booted up FreeBSD and logged in and it went directly to a shell and the commands seem to be the same as linux but I'm still not that good with the shell yet.
I was hoping I could set up SSH so I can connect with my linux comp and play around with it while having access to the internet and ebooks on FreeBSD. Problem is I have no idea how to connect to the internet with the command line. I tried pinging one of the IP's on the LAN but it didn't work so it definitely isn't connected.
Should I just reinstall FreeBSD or should I try and connect to the internet and install the X11 system manually?
