Yeah, so I know its somewhat old...but I just watched it, and I liked it. It was a friends recommendation. Pretty interesting, and I wasnt bored whatsoever during the movie. The ending was pretty crazy, but it was awesome. I dont know why people hated the movie so much? I know it was a very simple movie to make...nothing that costs too much money because of no CGI/explosions but still I think it was a good movie.

It was alright, it felt like one of those movies that are supposed to be remakes but really just make something else out of nothing. It was worth a watch, but thats it and yes i wouldnt pay to watch it in the theaters.

Thinkning of the exact same thing while watching the movie. Still a decent flick to watch while your bored. I say torrent or stream.

I think Street Kings is more believable, because the actual captain is the corrupt one, with his little minions running around below him. In Training Day, the movie made it seem very unbelievable that Denzel was a police officer. In Street Kings, Reeves was always at the precinct and in uniform. Yes, I know they were undercover in Training Day, but still.

I think Street Kings is among the worst in this genre. Cartoonish and predictable...The one character that seemed even remotely interesting was Keanu's ex-partner, and he got killed off after like 10 minutes.

Watch Dark Blue, Training Day, The Shield, or Narc instead of this crap. (In particular, Forest Whittaker gives a ridiculously great performance in Season 5 of The Shield)
