Anyway, I came across a thread, about a mountain on the border of germany and austria called Untersberg. I highly suggest you take 2 minutes and at least read the first post in this thread - http://tinyurl.com/6e8stp . To sum it up as quickly as possible, this mountain has hundreds of tunnels going through it, and into the earth, DEEP (The last mission that went in 2008 went down 1056 meters and had to turn around, so the how deep it goes is still a mystery). Hitler had an obsession with this mountain, even built a house with high quality telescopes, just to observe this mountain. There are HUNDREDS, if not thousands, of stories of people going there and seeing gnomes, dwarfs, fairies, time warps, etc etc. This area also has extreme magnetic anomaly's. (sp?) There are stories of people going in, and coming back days (weeks maybe?) later to find people at there funeral, but had only been in the cave a few hours. Another of three people who in 1987 went into the cave, never to be seen for 3 months, there car still found parked outside. 3 months later there family got a call and they were on a ship in the middle of Alexandria, Egypt, with no recollection of the past 3 months and no idea how they got there (kinda like no recollection of a hardcore DMT trip) Just weird EXTREME time distortion etc.

Does anyone see a link between this and DMT? (Elves, Time distortion, Mystical creatures, Extraterrestrials)

I found this HIGHLY interesting, and thought maybe some of you might like to read about this, and share some thoughts on the subject.

If you are skeptical, please just read through the thread I posted. On that site I believe its usually looked down upon to talk about drugs when talking about paranormal things and such, for obvious reasons. When I first read the thread, DMT is the FIRST thing that came to mind. On the second page, someone else did make that connection also and suggested it might have something to do with magnetic anomaly's doing something with the pineal gland, making you trip, getting time distortions, seeing elves, etc (This is not my theory, but an interesting one none the less, I just found the connection between this and DMT).

Thoughts? Comments? Tin foil hatz? Lulz.

Its an interesting read, but I think I disagree. Perhaps there is DMT-containing plant life on the mountain? But I dont think anyone would eat or otherwise ingest random plants on the side of a mountain. Without a MAOI also, those chances are very very slim. Other than that, I don't see how DMT could be getting into peoples brains on that mountain.

If you think it is magnetism: Wouldnt you think mankind would already be aware of the effects of magnetism on the pineal gland? We have been exposed to magnetism so often, and in many different forms; if magnetism and the pineal gland had any interaction it would already be well documented.

Other than that, I don't see how DMT could be getting into peoples brains on that mountain.
Cause its already in your brain? Again, as I said before, that isn't my theory about the magnetism releasing the DMT, someone else's i found interesting. I just find the link between these 2 things to coincedental to be ignored.

I want to explore that. I'll bring my own dmt. Tripping in the caves deep inside that mountain would be awesome.

Maybe them tripping is from some fungus which has spores that make you hallucinate when you inhale them. Could also be that people just made it all up... Awesome looking mountain though. All the legends are very interesting.

I cant think of any other stimuli that releases DMT outside of REM sleep and the (controversial) experience of death. And I don't see how that mountain changes your REM sleep.

I read alot of unorthodox literature, and remember reading something about this particular anomaly... it was an interesting book i picked up.

its not that i believe this, but the book had interesting diagrams of old civilizations, monuments, structures, and the possible photographs of some sort of "boat" remains on a mountain.

The book was quite peculiar.....not that it was believable......just im fond of the person's library it came from.

But could nature pinpoint the pineal gland like that? Does it need to be pinpointed to work?

That experiment with the magnets, the offset waves met right at the pineal gland. So that caused the DMT like experience.
My question is :
If this is what is happening on the mountain (unlikely theory), could natural magnetic forces trigger the same effect, or does it need to be offset like the experiment?

regarding the "elves" "gnomes" etc. People have reported that on various islands on indonesia that they saw human like things that were 3 or 4 feet tall. And they have found very old skeletons that are 4 feet tall with huge craniums. Its possible there is some sort of species closely related to humans that was driven to the brink of extinction by us homo sapiens.

Um, just because people are displaying DMT like experiences does NOT mean it is DMT. The fact is, we are only barely seeing the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the world, there are SO many undiscovered things, for all we know it could be some type of mold, fungus, fucking anything that just so happens to produce a chemical that we have not found or discovered yet.


Damn near anything can alter your state of mind. Really. Even a full meal can have profound effects on the way you view the world.


My verdict is, as long as it's not a huge load of shit, and those people ARE telling the truth, there is an unknown, and highly fucking potent mind altering chemical being released by something there. It's a hell of a lot more feasible than "teh magnets in ur brane makin DMT"

Very interesting read. Although I'm skeptical (just like anyone else reading this I'm sure), the stories, legends, documentations, etc. are all very fascinating.

Someone needs to compile a military-style expoloration team comprised of thousands. Well equipped with testing equipment, radio equipment, spelunking tools, photography/videography gear, and things for necessary survival.

Perhaps that would clear some things up. If the entire team comes out with the same time distortion thing, then it'd be something to drop your jaw over.

Maybe that's where all of the worlds mythical creatures ran to during the industrial revolution and subsequent modernization of the world.
