i fucking told you. take 2 parts vinegar for one part sugar.. fill a shot glass about half full. if you had tried it your hiccups would be gone. i'll guarentee it.

I often get hiccups on oxy. Maybe it's the codeine.

tip: slowly drink water until you absolutely have to breathe, constantly swallowing. they'll go away.

I would think that since the muscle is relaxed, it isn't able to do it's work, so it spasms. It's the same thing with booze, like that old stereotype in cartoons.

It's the codeine man. I always have the same hiccup problem with any opiate (unless it's really good pure stuff).

The worst it ever got was when I took some generic hydrocodone. It was fucking horrible.. I mean 3 hours straight of hiccups. Now I never take vicodin unless it has the little V's on the back b/c for some reason I never hiccup on those

My friend recommended that I keep taking little sips of water really fast and keep repeating until you are out of breath or the water is gone and that seemed to help.

It's funny I went to the orthodontist to get my braces removed and the whole time the staff was laughing at me because I was hiccuping :D.

They are gone now but goddamn that was annoying.

EDIT: They stopped after 14 hours. Got no sleep because of the damn hiccups.

This. Codeine, morphine, oxycodone and diamorphine all = hiccups for me.
