Basically, the point of both of our posts is that both candidates have, undoubtably, made good headway in some form or fashion over the years, and just because someone cannot name one off the top of his head doesn't mean it did not happen.

It's a damn shame that all the Dem picks for both offices are bad for gun rights, although Clark I think would have been better than Obama and Biden. This, welfare and asinine social programs, and many other stupid democrat ticks puts me squarely against them on many issues, but the Pubs are all fascinated with warmongering, dick swashbucklingwith other countries, shitting all over the Constitution and economy, and wanting to control and monitor all aspects of your life. All of the mainstreamers except Paul believed that.

By the way, I just figured out how we are in fact stealing Iraqs oil. The Iraqi reconstruction fund is funded by 95% of oil profitsl, which gives contracts to almost completely foreign companies. Yay for money laundering.

Also, it's hilarious that this "Change" ticket has a product of the Chicago Democratic Machine and someone who has been in the Senate since 1973.

The second youtube video was totally ass-about. Biden said those negative comments about McCain and praised Obama. Someone did a piss-poor job editing that video. I saw it on TV, it's actually a pro-Obama campaign ad.

Thats his achievement. He was able to sell America that he should be the Democratic front runner despite having no experience and his racial appearance. That is astonishing. The fact he could convince everyone to go behind him and support him despite all the odds against him...

Now, what does this prove? That he's a great politician. He hoodwinked everyone, thats what you need to be a good politician and he's clearly proved he is if he's gotten this far off so little.

Does Obama have experience? Fuck no! But he's so good at being a politician he convinced everyone to overlook that. If you ask me that makes a good politician. And that generally translates to being a good president. Being able to sell people on your ideas is what makes an effective President.

If you can keep selling people on your ideas you can accomplish alot. Bush sold us on Iraq but was only able to do it intially ...


Being a good president is really just how long you can keep people from smelling your bullshit. Policies may suck but if you can persuade people they don't it doesn't even matter.
