Your Favorite Headshops...
Hey there! I want to talk about the great headshops you've all been to. I love headshops, with the incense, the hippy music, the colored beads, and all the fabulous glass and tools that make smoking weed easier, more convienent, and longer lasting.
My favorite headshop is in Janesville, WI. Its called The Mark. Its got wonderful cheap glass, and cheap grinders, papers, and incense. The selection is quite standard, and the prices for grinders and tools are extremely hard to beat. Its down on Main Street in Janesville, its a two story building, the bottom floor has paraphenilia, and the top floor has body piercing gear and porn. The shop has a wonderful ambience to it, and the staff have always been really friendly and cool. Along the tops of the walls, near the ceilings, the owner has decorated the place with old board games, power rangers bots, and other cool old toys. I highly recommend this place if you're in Southern Wisconsin or Northern Illinois, you can pickup a nice two stage grinder for 15 bucks from the slightly scuffed bin (just as functional, only it's been scratched or slightly damaged), along with that, they have excellent chillums, most under 25 dollars, along with some higher priced custom pieces (stuff like a rastafarian smoking a bowl out of hitler's decapitated head, a grey alien bowl, and others) for around 100 or so each.
Another favorite of mine is Satori's up in Oshkosh WI. Its also on the main drag, and features a good selection of glass and such. The best part is, if you buy a pipe, you get a cool looking Satori's T-Shirt. Buy two, get two.
Also, State Street in Madison has a few good headshops; Knucklehead's is probably the best known, but compared to the Mark in Janesville, it's got nothing, at vastly higher prices. If you can go to Janesville, pick up what you need there, instead of at Knuckleheads. Pipefitters is also another good place, a little cheaper than Knuckleheads.
What good headshops have you been to? Which were your favorite?

Re: Your Favorite Headshops...
I've been to some pretty cool ones in:
Oklahoma City, OK
Tulsa, OK
Chicago, IL
Sheboygan, WI
Green Bay, WI
Orlando, FL
But my favorite is in my home town. The Funky Monkey. It's your average hed but I know the people well and they've got good prices and a great selection on incense and incense holders. A few badass hookas as well.

My favorite has to be Pipe Dreams on Haight, the ones I have actually frequented regularly are Puff N Stuff or The Gas Pipe in Dallas.

Same with my favorite one..everything else is great there but before Salvia was made illegal here they sold it and it was garbage. I'd have to drive two hours to get any worth a fuck if I didn't order off the web.

Re: Your Favorite Headshops...
I bought the coolest chillum i've ever owned at Knuckleheads. They also have some pretty sweet clothing in there (seedless, and threadless brands). I've also been to Pipefitters, but my favorite headshop in Madison as far as atmosphere is definitely Sunshine Daydream. They don't have the biggest selection of glass, but what they do have combined with all the other cool shit they sell and the Grateful Dead theme makes it my #1.
There's also this weird ass shop that's a block away from state street called Amsterdam. It's like... gothic themed. But they're the only place that sells bongs, as shops located on state street are not allowed to sell them. I bought some 5x salvia from here, and it knocked my socks off. Only time I've ever broke through on salvia, and it was smoked out of a normal pipe with a bic lighter.
I'll have to check out The Mark. My brother goes to school in Madison, and I drive past Janesville every time I go to visit him. Always smells like cow shit, haha.
In Chicago my two favorites are Secrets and Novelties. It's hard to say which is best, because they both have enormous selection. They both sell top notch bongs like PHX, Volcano, and Medicali, as well as the cheap colorful ones. However, novelties is owned by arabian people and it's very easy to haggle with them, especially if you're spending a lot of money.
Then just outside of Joliet, IL in Crest Hill, there's Headventures and Rocky Mudds. Headventures has a much larger selection, but both stores are rather overpriced.

Re: Your Favorite Headshops...
Puff n Stuff is the local one but it doesn't have much other than bowls and T shirts. Record Rev, a CD shop/headshop on Coventry in Cleveland Heights is way better. Plus they actually sell to me (being 17) and they have Salvia. They have gas mask bongs and shit for a pretty good price too.

I went to this wacky headshop in Oly a few years ago. They sold whipets, bongs, the usually headshop fare. And porn/sex toys and weapons.
I can't remember where it was, but I guarantee there's a few of them in Oly.

Maybe not, but you can legally grow mushrooms for personal use there.
Anyways, my favorite headshop here in central NY is this place called 'kind konnections'. They have a large number of double/ triple perc PHX bongs, Roor icemasters, vapir vaporizers, and an assortment of custom glass pieces made locally. They also (strangely) have a entire case of pink glass bongs/bubblers/pipes, which my girlfriend likes.

Re: Your Favorite Headshops...
There's one in the flea market near where I live. Cause this flea market is huge, it's got an outside and there is a giant warehouse for the inside and there are all sorts of tiny shops.
Bought my first Chills rolling machine there and some of these papers called "Black Death". A lot of the stuff is all gimmick and novelty but I still like it.
