Less trials and tribulations.
Trials and tribulations are what make us who we are. I've been through SO much fucking bullshit in my life, from living in a car with my mom at 15, till I got sick of that and went out on my own and slept in ditches and shit when I couldn't crash at a friends. Why just a little over two years ago, my main residence was an old decrepit shed behind an abandoned Dariy Queen. I've been poor as fuck my entire life, up until about a year and a half ago, when I met my wife. I mean so poor that scamming fast food places is more about survival than lulz. Of course, there is much more bullshit than just homelessness in my past, but you get the idea.


And because of my uber shitty financial situation I've learned to appreciate the more important things in life, love, family, friends, health etc. All the things money couldn't buy in a million years. Money is just paper.


Now, having said that, I would whore myself out on the street before I let my son suffer the same childhood I did.


BUT I wouldn't change my past one single iota, because it's what makes me who I am, and it's why I am where I am in life right now, and I couldn't be happier, despite hurting so fucking bad I can hardly fucking walk. Ugh this shit hurts.

If you had a tetanus shot within the past 5 years at your PCP doctor's office or wherever, you're all set. Just take care of the wound, use Neosporin or Bacitracin or whatever after the bleeding stops if it bled at all. Also for the first few days you can dress the wound with a gauze or a band-aid (AFTER applying the Neosporin/Bacitracin ointment); and keep an eye on it. If it becomes more and more swollen and more and more red or your entire foot becomes effected over the next day or two, go to the E.R. IMMEDIATELY!

If you haven't had a tetanus shot in the past 5 years, or are not sure if you have, then you may be fucked! Go to the E.R. right away, tell them what happened and get a tetanus shot right away (They will give you one, which you are supposed to get every 5 years anyway) and treat it as needed!

E.R.'s are very good about care and your situation with insurance. If you have no insurance or cash, they CAN NOT REFUSE YOU! THEY WILL STILL SEE AND TREAT YOU, though you will most likely get billed, which can be taken care of at a later date; much better than getting jaundice, lock-jaw tetanus or perhaps die in my opinion.

So take action IMMEDIATELY one way or another! Don't fuck around!

thanks for the useful response. i live in canada so paying for anything isn't a problem. and i'm pretty sure i got my tetanus shot a few years ago at school, i think that's what it was.

yeah well it still fuckin hurts. it went right up under my 2nd toe and touched the bone and it feels all weird and gross.

Turned out alright.. still hurts like a bitch today but not as bad. I poured rubbing alcohol on it and some anti-biotic cream and bandaged it. It's just in such a fucking weird uncomfortable spot.. but on the plus side I got a few percs out of it;)
