unless you have 400 gigabytes of ram to run azureus and wordpad at the same time.. I'd go with utorrent.

I used to use Azureus and now I switched to µTorrent. I must say, µTorrent is much nicer. It's slick, simple, and easy to use. Also, it doesn't hog your CPU.

Lightbulb Re: Which is better, uTorrent or Azureuz

I did a serious test once
I loaded a torrent with 1200 files
utorrents used 15MB RAM
Azureuz (now Vuze) was on it's way to 900MB

also with installation file size:
utorrents - 260KB (requires no install)
Vuze - 8MB (requires install)

I see no reason to use Vuze, unless embedded ads and cpu hogging flash videos is your thing

I would however like to see a http:// download option for utorrents like some clients have

Ughh don't remind me about Azureuz, I regret the only time I used it. So slow and clogged with ads and flash stuff.

I hate both, but the old Azureus I think was better, even though it was quite hard on memory. (I have 2GB, blow me)

uTorrent might have goten involved with the RIAA, so I stay away from it like the black plague.

<-- uses ktorrent
