Drunk Drving
So I just drank like 7 beers at a friends house..
he only likves like 15 minutes away. So I leave his house and Im driving this back road that goes lliterally right to my house.. I call this chick right when i leave, and it feels like 30 seconds and Im almost to my house even though Ive been on the phone for like 10 or 15 minutes..
It was so crazy it was like i was all benzo'd out and lost a few minutes , but it wasnt I was just driving normal and i was almost home in what felt like 30 seconds
Has anyone else experienced this where you travel distances at extreme rates despite your going normal speeds and so forth..
I guess im just to drunk to notice time or something but ... any comments?

Are you sure you just werent paying attention because you're buzzed and on the phone? That's a little more likely than you hitting a wormhole.

Re: Drunk Drving
It is kind of stupid to drive that drunk, but whatever. I don't really have any room to talk. I drive drunk sometimes, although whenever I do, I'm with one or two sober friends (who don't have their licenses so they can't drive my car) and they say I drive perfectly fine. If they say I'm driving bad I'll pull over.
Also if you're driving drunk, you shouldn't have any distractions. Don't talk on the phone next time. It's already risky enough to drive under the influence; you don't need to make it even more dangerous.

So not only were you driving drunk but you were also on the phone while doing it? That's a good way to become another statistic.

Dude.. yes.. all the time.
Driving drunk is easy, I drove perfectly last night while unbelievably hammered down the highway about a 10 mile journey.
On the phone, smoking a cig and blasting reggae and all.

This.
Shit happens and people drive drunk (not that I approve of it or condone it whatsoever because I certainly don't) but throwing in the phone factor is just asinine.

Re: Drunk Drving
i used to drive drunk all the time. i would drink like a fifth of vodka and drive. Then 7 of my friends got DUI's. Now I try to limit myself to 6 beers if i'm driving. Wednesday and Thursday though, I ended up drinking about 14 beers and driving. I got home fine, but I felt really bad after. Drinking and driving is never a good idea.

Man fuck that. Make your friends drive even if they don't have their license or at least get some older friends that have their licenses. What's worst: a sober driver without a license driving the speed limit and staying in the same lane, or a drunk fool with a 2 ton object going 50mph?

I don't see why everyone is giving you such a hard time. I could drink 7 beers and drive ANY TIME, EASILY. I can drink like 21 beers and still drive, i've never got in an accident because of it either. it just depends who you are, im not a fucking idiot like most other people when they're drunk driving, I keep things in control.

Dude, that's retarded. Anyone who claims they can drive drunk is retarded. Why? Because every single person who drives drunk makes that claim.
You've never had an accident. So what? You've been lucky. When you're driving under ANY circumstances, it only takes one mistake at the wrong time and somebody DIES. They lose their fucking life. It is absolutely not something to fuck around with. LOTS of people get in accidents even when they're sober, and it's not like they planned it or were expecting it. Shit can go wrong, and then the whole situation changes. You may be doing OK but then the car ahead of you stops too suddenly and that's it. It could be curtains. You cannot possibly be saying that you can drive just fine after 21 beers, and if that's what you're saying, then you're a fool.
