...Does anyone still play COD4? I imagine a lot of you do, but there's very little talk about it nowadays.

I got on today after a lengthy hiatus, and I must say, it still hasn't gotten old. And I still don't know what it is about me, or maybe its just the stupidity of other people...but I pwn hard. Going 62-20 on Showdown (Headquarters) is quite fun, but it really isn't that hard, you know? I fail to see how very few people bother to flank and/or take a non-linear route to the HQ.

Of course the game still has its apparent problems in multiplayer, like the ridiculous helicopter and the airstrikes that still manage to kill you while you're in a building. One of the most annoying and recurrent flaws is the shitty spawning system, because apparently if two teams are spawning too close to an unclaimed HQ, the server decides to fuck over one team and spawn them at the other end of the map, leaving the other team to capture the HQ with no resistance.

So if you guys still play COD4, you should definitely put &T in your clan tag. Maybe we'll meet up in some games, and kick some ass / kick each other's asses. I play HQ and the Hardcore varieties, especially the latter because they're a lot more fun.

It's ironic to note that you get the most accurate of the sniper rifles as the starter one, sure, it's not semi-auto but if you've hit your target you won't need semi-auto. I sometimes use a Barret M82 .50cal on maps where there is a fair bit of cover.

I still play(xbox), but I seems like a lot of the best players have left. I'm a beast at the game, but it used to be that I could play Search and I'd be up against people who would destroy me, these days everyone seems average at best.
I'm just working on getting the golden dragonov at the moment, I already have the gold AK and the gold Uzi, not that I ever use them.

I'm 55, prestige is a waste of time, so I didn't bother.

I usually use silenced M4(Red tiger), 3 frags, stopping power and steady aim. Lately I have been using the same set up only with the M16.

Best maps are Crash, crossfire and overgrown, and I usually play Search and destroy and team death match(Both hardcore and normal)

That is indeed true, but I personally prefer the M21 over all the sniper rifles, because even if it doesn't one-hit kill, you can fire off the second shot in practically the same instant. Plus, the M21 pwns in close-range combat.

Too bad the M14 sucks so much ass. Infinity Ward shouldn't have put the M14 in there, because I'd rather use the M21 any day. They should have used some other assault rifle with single-shot capability, like the AUG. Even the FAMAS.

I played on PS3 for a while and got pretty good and acquired all my Gold Guns but then i bought it for PC. After i got it for PC it became sad at how much i pwn everyone els. I think it's because i played it on my PS3 for so long that i got accustomed to where everything is, and how i can use it to my advantage. On PC there are often 50+ players so people don't feel the need to be tactical and it becomes a gun fest.

I also effectively use the Radar, which to my surprise a lot of people don't.
