Yeah vitamin waters are giving the old AZ green tea (love those tall cans for $.99) a run for their money... as my standby "thing to buy in a gas station at 3AM."

Even so called 'healthy' drinks like this still I think are an absolute travesty upon the nation. Whole generations of kids grow up ONLY drinking soda, energy drinks, and 'others' (I'll stick Vitamin Water in there...).

When I was growing up, there were no energy drinks, Red Bull didn't come out until I was basically done with high school.

Our idea of an energy drink was MAYBE gatorade...

When I was a kid and we wanted to stay up all night playing video games... we drank ... mountain dew. Now people tell me they drink Mountain Dew all day every day as the only liquid they imbibe.

Am I the only person here that drinks mostly... water, milk, and fruit or vegetable juice?

I don't keep soda in my refrigerator, except I have a six pack of Coca-Cola bottles, and I only drink coca-cola when I'm sick, or sometimes friends will drorink a bottle.

If I get say... dehydrated, I'll sometimes get some gatorade but mostly just water.

I was playing ultimate frisbee a couple of weeks ago with some kids from the local university who had just moved in and didn't know anyone around here. One of them was getting light headed, had a headache, had stopped sweating so I told him he was dehydrated. I gave him an aspirin, and sent a friend of his to the convenience store a couple of blocks down to get something for him to drink.

The idiot comes back with RED BULL. I say "What the fuck is this?"

He says "Its good for you man, its full of vitamins and stimulants and shit that will get him back to normal."

I told the guy not to drink it, that I would go get him some gatorade or water, but h e listened to his friend instead of me.. and ended up getting really sick, coming down with a fever and needing to go to the hospital to get put on an IV to get him some fluids.

Guy is badly dehydrated, and he drinks three red bulls filled with god knows how much caffeine and other stimulants.

Fucking stupid kids.
