Posting passwords, calling card numbers, or credit card numbers is forbidden on this network. Posting such info will get you booted off the net. |

Downloading streams from Hulu.
Hulu.com has allot of shows I want to watch, but only to stream. I want to download them and stick them on disk/portable device.
My first problem was actually viewing the videos. They are only available to those in the US, being from the UK I couldn't register/view the vids. Wasn't a big problem though, got round that quickly.
Second problem was downloading the videos. This is where I'm stuck. Tried the usual firefox addons, but to no avail. I downloaded a new program. "Replay video catcher". This thing worked perfectly, could even close the browser window. However, the trial version only downloads fucking 75% of the file.
Looked for cracks, but none available. Looked like there were some for older versions of the program, but they didn't work for me.
So anyone have any other programs that would work for this?

Yes, that second one is a packet sniffer, specialized to capture media URLs. It requires winpcap, which it includes.

Hulu is a strange one, like netflix. They work differently to normal streams. I'll try oddballz suggestions now and report back.

If you check the page, there's a small link in the comments that is for a Firefox 3 version of the plugin.

The nightly tester tools addon can be used to override compatibility errors for other extensions.
