So my friend got some Salvia divinorum and we decided to smoke it. I didnt really know what to expect. After my first hit i thought it taste like shit. But my second hit iw as staring at the lake and everything got blurry and it looked way far away. Then I started laughing hysterically and couldnt stop for 5 minutes...
But it went away in like 7 minutes and that was it.

You did it wrong. You have to take the fattest hit you can possibly take (I suggest using a bong) and hold it in for as long as you possibly can. Basically you will break through before you exhale.

What extract did you smoke? if you even know

do it while on mushrooms.

in my experience with salvia, the threshhold effects have always been a little unpleasant. it makes me hot, and sweaty, and gives me an uncomfortable prickling sensation. but when i tried it before, i was doing it without a bong/bubbler and without a torch lighter.

but then, i did it while peaking on shrooms with a bong and a torch, and it completely blew my mind. the negative effects i described were not present at all. i didn't even smoke that much, it was just the las bit of salvia that i had, and i didn't even hold it in very long. but i ended up lying on the floor, watching closed eye visuals, with no recollection of how to move or talk.

i need to try it again with the torch and bong, to experience the full, pure salvia effects.

and you probly just need to smoke more, hold it in longer, use a bong or bubbler to cool the smoke, and a torch lighter to burn it at a higher temp.

but do it on mushrooms. the compliment eachother wonderfully

The chemical in Salvia needs a higher temperature flame to release the chemical, than weed needs to release THC. Use a torch lighter, or double light it.

Do what Erik says on his videos, that is "Hold it in your lungs until your vision begins to vibrate, or about 20 seconds". Then he falls apart.

ppl have done it successfully without a torch lighter. Just keep it lit the whole entire hit. No harm done in double lighting
