My question is simple.

Here in Canada the brand name OxyContin pills are the same colors as the OC ones found in the states but rather than OC they say CDN.

This is all good and fine but I have two questions.

#1 ~ Are they the same as the OC ones in that the time release is defeated simply by removing the coating. Also, with this whole coating thing. Why such it off? Is it just as effective simply to crush up the whole pill coating and all into a fine powder or does that still effect the release of the drug? Do you have to suck/rub off the coating or will crushing it work just fine for making it instant release.

# 2 ~ I noticed something odd. I normally get the 20mg Oxycontin and that is all fine N dany. They work great. I have seen the 80's though and I noticed that they are the proper green color and have the CDN markings but they are noticeably bigger in size than the 20mg ones. This makes me wonder? I mean, surely you don't need a bigger sized tablet to fit a measly 60mg of something more. I mean, they are noticeably bigger than the 20mg but otherwise seem legit. Is this how it is supposed to be that the 80mg tablets are bigger than say the 20mg and if so is this only with the CDN kind or also the OC ?

1.) the time release is in the binders inside the pill and such. The coating isnt in charge of that so much.

2.) Yes the 80mg would be much bigger than the 20. They just keep the binders and fillers in the pill proportionate with the oxy

Thank you so fucking much ot the poster above me. The reason I asked the first question is because I always hear people talking about rubbing off the coating. I always wondered why people just didn't mash the pill.

And for the second question you are telling me that simply for asthetics they increase the size of the pill in proportion to the ammount of drug simply for asthetics even though it technecally is not nececary ?

Even in the U.S. the 80s are bigger.
