Really basic question, though i think most of us have been guilty of throwing it around lightly at some point; What do you think consitutes love of any sort.


I've been thinking back on my own experiences and I'm not sure I've ever loved anyone, though ive used the word often enough. I love my mother most of the time, but there are certainly times where i feel if we never spoke again it wouldnt be a problem.

I've never really loved anyone, well with the exception of my family. Then again, I never really put myself out there emotionally...so I guess that's why

I really don't think there's anything supernatural about love. There's no such thing as soulmates, or true love, or any of that. I'd be nice if there was, though.

Love is just what happens when you like a person enough for long enough. Time is really what determines it.

Love is a product of society trying to run away from it's reliance on animal instincts. There are obviously different levels of attraction, and I do believe in the whole perfect partner (or true love) thing, but only because to me it's obvious it would exist because humans need to mate. And by making two people a perfect match, you stop the less motivated people from dropping out of the system.

At least, that's what I came up with after thinking on the subject for a whole 2 minutes.

My theory of love is being completely happy and content with any any aspect of a human, or none human relationship.

So love can't exist without communication?

I believe in love at first sight, because it happened to me.

But love fades, oceans cannot be crossed and you cant fight the moonlight, everyday must end for the next to begin.

But the moon, the end of a day can be a beautiful thing.
Im left with only sweet memories, a few keepsakes and a feeling that wont ever go away.

Shes across the pacific ocean and we both have new people in our lives, different lives....

Theres alot of emotions involved wondering if our lives will ever cross again - because the way we met and fell in love was so fast, so crazy, random and more than anything so beautiful.
