Any of you who have snorted drugs have probably experienced the drip - when the excess of the substance you snorted runs down your sinuses into your throat.

Some people really enjoy it but i think it tastes like shit, and besides, if i wanted to eat the drugs i would've just eaten them. Even though most drugs that are effective intranasally are effective orally aswell, i prefer the rush that insufflation provides and would rather that all of the drug be absorbed in my sinuses.

So how can one avoid the drip? Should they do smaller lines? Or give more time between doses? Does the drip even contain a significant amount of psychoactive or is it mostly pill binders/impurities?

As far as I know, everyone gets drip. And yes, there's still some good stuff in it.

The only thing I can think of to avoid it is to gently snort the line instead of a strong inhale. Like, just enough to get the stuff up there, and try to avoid breathing in/out through your nose so most of it will stay in the same place.

Plus, with cocaine at least, you can't take it orally. So that shit is either going up your nose, or in your arm.

Cocaine is as bioavailable intranasally as it is orally. The difference is that when consumed orally it is absorbed much more slowly. this means that the high is not as intense, but lasts much longer.

I used to hate the drip but it doesn't really bother me anymore, I can't claim to like it like some people though.
