I've experienced light hallucinations with doses of zopiclone around the 30-37.5mg mark, but this was after having used them previously at lower doses. If you take that high a dose (x8ish the regular dose) it might just put you right to sleep. These were closed eye/dark room doses btw.

Actually, twice or three times the suggested dose of that certain hypnotic brings some interesting effects.
I've actually tried it out of boredom... I took a caffeine pill with it to keep me from falling asleep.

I was taking a crap, staring at the inside of a gum pack cardboard, which had some barely visible blue marks, as the drugs began to take hold. The blue marks started moving around, erratically at first. Then, they started to form almost identifiable patterns until finally they formed an animation of two stick people playing Frisbee. Eventually I woke up in bed, wondering if what happened was real. I found the gum pack and saw the blue marks and the only pencil crayon I had (blue).
