Is it considered rude or bothersome to approach a women while shes at work?

I realize extended distraction from her work can get her in trouble but if its quick, should there be any issue?

Theres a cute girl who works at the pizza place in the same parking lot/building complex thing.

Ive been in there a few times for lunch and i think shes cute and seems nice.

I just went in and ordered my food but told her id come back in 10m to pick it up. I asked her name, she gave it to me but i didn't say my name, she didn't ask. Other customers came in so i just got my receipt and left.

Any suggestions on how i should find out if shes with someone and then if not ask her to coffee sometime... quick and easy

"cathy.....im chris by the way, um... would you like to go out for coffee sometime, if youre not seeing anyone that is?"

i dont know anything about her really, i see her there all the time but its outside of my comfort zone to approach women so i always just .. ordered and left.

Yeah it was dead quiet. I asked if shes allowed to chat with customers if its not busy and she said yeah theyre pretty cool about it.

Then i got nervous and we kinda interupted each other,then i mumbled and said alright well i gotta get back.

Walked back into my job and it was dead... so i grabbed a bit of paper and wrote my number. Walked back to the pizza place, still dead, she was talkin to her co worker, she saw me so she came to the counter, i said im sorry for bein a chicken shit earlier... she gave a wtf look, and i said if your not seeing anyone and wanna go out for coffee sometime call me, gave her the bit and she said yeah ill call sometime i smiled and walked out.

She's not going to call. You should have asked her out after she was off of work.

If the OP was at work, and they work in the same shopping center, then she would have noticed his work uniform and realized they worked real close together.

And only a cold hearted bitch would lie to someone that works next door to them, you know what I mean?
