gonna make spacecakes on tuesday. ive read up all the recipes i can, and my friend and i are going to use some fire mids, and make two batches of brownies (quarter of finely ground bud in each batch). is it a good idea to make cannibutter, even those the recipe calls for oil?

also, has anyone tried this? how potent would this be, based on the information?

if the recipe calls for oil, use oil, infact start your oil in advance. grind up your buds as finely as you can get them use a little [keyword] extra oil than what the recipe calls for, and let it sit for a night. if that can't happen put it on a burner, and bring to a boil and let simmer...

Let em sit overnight, and no, you don't want to cook the buds into it. Make the oil and discard the buds..all the THC will be out of them

You can substitute cannabutter for veggie oil in brownies in 1:1 ratio, Ive done it no problem. Just melt the butter in the microwave first. Hell, you can even substitute apple sauce or even baby food instead of oil.

Yeah, just replace the oil with concentrated cannabutter. Although, when I make them I still grease the pan with oil.

If you just mix the straight marijuana in it gets a strange taste and you get bits stuck in your teeth. Cannabutter is the best for any marijuana recipes.

You oughta just make Firecrackers. FAR less time/effort...although they do taste like ass. They do get you just as blazed however

either or works. if you have the time soak them overnight. if your making something spur of the moment, simmer the buds in oil [like cannibutter, but just with oil] neither is better than the other IMO..


but yea, make sure your not baking your pot directly into the brownies. strain the oil, butter, whatever first. remember your thc is in the fatty substance you used to boil, let em sit in, whatever, and the buds are pretty much just for looks now. it makes eating whatever your making alot easier...


if your making brownies, add frosting to the top. how big of a pan do you plan on using? this is key to both taste and concentration. no one wants to eat a sheet of brownies to get off. my advice, put the half into one sheet, split the sheet in half between you and your buddy, and then split your halves in half. indulge in one immediately.

True, the brownies always taste alot better but I've mad some firecrackers that blitzed me beyond blitzed. All I had to do was choke down two of them. Either way you'll be wasted..one way is just the lazy way out :)

Don't make cookies, make 'Short bread'.

Cookies have to much moisture in them so you normally end up with shitty tasting soggy bikkies (once we ended up just eating the uncooked cookie mix... yucky.

Its just a mix of Butter/Flour/sugar so it gets dryed out properly & is sweet & greenish.

Not that brown/green shit look.

muffins mask the taste the best, out of conventional easy bake things, which hold up to a little extra butter/oil

it would be pretty cool to combine cubensis in there somehow so you get the mushy high and the earb. you could slang em for mad cash

A quarter of decent weed in a batch of brownies will last you quite a while, the weed's a lot more potent when properly cooked. I've baked an eighth into a batch before and something like a sixth of that got me stoned out my mind for several house. Other people had similar doses and were just as stoned. Three people puked. One passed out. One couldn't move for a while. All had a great time.

I always make the oil just like canna butter but keep the heat low. Minus the water that most canabutter recipes call for.

I once made choc. chip muffins with 5-7 grams of bud in each one.

For having that much weed in them, they actually were good, and very good to my head.
