As far as the question that can't be answered on Erowid, I probably drop about once a month or so. There was a point that I was tripping 2-3 times per week on L for about 6 months. That kind of fucked me up. I felt really out of touch with reality for a couple months.

I do it occasionally. Usually around five times a year. However I would probably do it more if I had a more reliable hook.

Habitual use of anything has negative repercussions, especially habitual LSD use. That sounds funny just saying it. Try acid, its a beautiful thing, its not addictive, and it won't fuck you up for life unless you get into heavy habitual use, and I dont know anyone who has habitually used lsd.

I've done it near 100 times, but I've cut back a lot. Last summer I definitely abused it a little bit, but since 2008 started I've only done it twice.

Does it really mess you up?

Used properly, no. It can actually have many beneficial effects on your psyche. Used improperly, yes, it can have some negative side effects, such as temporary HPPD (look it up).

What happens when ur on it?

You learn. About yourself, about life, and many other things.

Also, a lot that cannot be explained and just need to be experienced.

You will be fine. Enjoy it, and let it take over. Do not try to control it.

If you're not mentally stable don't go near it. Otherwise it is not only a blast, but I think everyone should try it once for how it changes your thinking forwever.

I've had hundres of trips - at one pont I was tripping every weekend. And I've taken massivley large doses too - 65 hits in one night.

So go for it and enjoy. Just make sure you're comfortable where you trip and have people around you that you trust.

No matter how prepared you are you can still have bad trips and unpleasant experiences. It simply goes wit the territory. True you can minimize risks but don't be un realistic. It is important to realize that Psychs can do all kinds of good things and bad things to anyone at any time.

Personally, I have not used it since December. I used to do it once every 2 weeks or so. It can cause you to get hung up on pursuing spiritual aspects of life and makes you withdrawn from normal life at times. I am not saying this will happen but it can be difficult to relate to people at times if you do alloy of acid.

well i do it every friday. It hasent messed me up but i have seen some people that arnt quite the same after a few trips but no one is instituanalised becouse they thinke there a glass of orange juce or something. I cant tell you how much to take becouse i dont know how strong your doses are but i would say try 2 at first and see were it puts you. You can do it wid your friends at night dont have a non acid head trip sitter though becouse they might not understand you are just triping if you start looping or something and call an ambulince or something stupid. It last like 5 hours but it depends on the dose. You take it be puting the blotter/gel/cube/sweettart/liquid in your mouth and holding it there for as long as you can then swalowing it. Dont try and put it in your eye for any reason. Dont be near sharp objects, the road, other people you dont know, or your parents.

.... nope sure its lsd not an rc. I dont know how long it last back whan i first started doing it but on avg it lasts about 5 hours for me from peak till end.

if say i were to take say 5 hits on day then the next take 5 i wouldent trip but if i took 8 i would trip for less then 5 hours. If you timed it from whan i dosed till the end of the trip it would prolly be 8 hours. And out of cureosity what rc would make you have an acid like trip with 1 drop. I have had many sorces over the years and unless they all had the same rc then im sure its lsd.

Ive done acid probably about 10 times...

i dont have time to trip very often, and usually end up tripping every month or two...

as far as pure usage goes weed is my drug of choice, but LSD is probably my favorite....

it hasnt messed me up mentally but with enough some people develop HPPD... its not always as much fun as an interesting learning experience.... every trip ive ever had has had a different character based on my mindset and setting... my first trip i thought i had an idea of what to expect, oh how ignorant i was.... no matter how much we tell you your trip might be like, its likely nothing like you expect... erowid says "mild mood lift", i can only describe the euphoria i experienced in my first trip as the collective joy of the universe being forced into my brain, i was so happy that you would have to go beyond all sanity and reason to be that happy...

my trips then haven't been as euphoric... but its a drug that has great potential to make you see and think of things that you would rather not see or think about... my last trip was 2 hits of some damn good blotter... i watched the skin in my hands sink through as if all the muscle had vanished leaving only skin, bone, and veins... all the while watching what looked like things crawling through my veins... try to stay away from mirrors or looking at your self if that sort of thing might bother you... on a couple of hits you can still rationalize that your on a drug and its causing you too feel the way your feeling, and as long as you can rationalize that everything will eventually go back to normal seeing these sorts of things isn't that bad...

you will learn alot about yourself, those around you, and the world you live in... if you have an intense experience expect to possibly see the world in a whole new perspective...

do it with a friend your first time, psychs tend to be easier around good friends you trust.... alone your just left to think, with a friend going through the same thing you have someone to relate and talk to...

Foolishly, I did a whole tenstrip. It was overwhelmingly intense at times, but it was definitely interesting and a learning experience. It most certainly was enlightening.

So I don't know what kind of weak ass acid you get, but maybe you're doing it wrong.

I'm sorry, man, but I have to say that welcometocrazyworld is right on this one, although it's not the most eloquent way to put it.

I can't really say that I know what enlightenment truly is, but I'm pretty sure you don't find it while on drugs. If anything, you'd take keys from your trips and enlighten yourself.

I should have specified. I wasn't talking about the trip itself -- which was simply a road to enlightenment. The experience afterward made me change many aspects about my life and has instilled some positive outlooks and perspectives on a lot of things,

I usually go through periods of dosing fairly often and then large breaks where I don't trip.

It doesn't "fuck you up" although a high dose trip can be overwhelming and impede your ability to complete everyday tasks.

All I can say is just dose up in a comfortable setting and see where it takes you.

Don't mean to hijack, but whats the deal with acidic tastes and acid? Like last time I dosed we went to the store and bought a bunch of food to sample. Particularly delicious was the orange juice and salt and vinegar chips. Everything else had sort of a neutered taste.

HAHA yes, I tripped with a friend who made a special "juice" out of a ton of shit, and it was so acidic it burnt the shit out of my tongue for a week and a half. All kinds of sour candy etc.



You really need to make sure you drink water after to bring the PH back up to normal 6-7

I think you could do it semi-regularly and not get fucked up if you aren't already experiencing some sort of mental issues.
