I know that excessive heat (such as flame) would destroy psylocibin. But, right now I have an eighth of dried shrooms wrapped in a paper towel, in a leather bag with a zipper, inside my trunk. Is it safe to let them sit there until tuesday, when I plan to trip?

EDIT: My car is in the driveway, not the garage.

Considering you can have them in boiling water for half hour with no potency loss, I don't think them being in a car is going to make them lose potency

Yeah you should be alright. I wouldn't leave them in there any longer than required and I'd probably take them out of the leather bag..that's just going to trap the heat in.

I wouldn't leave them in a trunk. Best place would be your fridge. Failing that, a drawer.

Well I brought them inside yesterday at about 3:30pm. My car is red with black interior, so it gets real hot inside usually, but the inside of the bag honestly felt fine, since i store it next to the spare tire.

I can't wait to do these, but do you guys think an eighth of indoor grown shrooms is too potent for a first time? I planned on doing an eighth myself for a while now, ever since I really got interested in making my first shroom voyage. But I was reading on erowid and saw that an eighth of cubes is actually a pretty strong dose, and indoor grown mushrooms are more potent as well.
