So next week I've got some LSD and an ounce of weed lined up for some holidays I'm having. I've been thinking about smoking weed then taking some acid, does anyone have any negative or positive experiences with these drugs being used in the same madder?

It will be great, smoke before you dose , right when you start to feel it smoke some more

And then during is cool but you can not feel it as much because the lsd is so strong it kinda overshadows the marijuana

So dont waste your whole ounce, better roll like 7 grams into some joints and pack some bowls,you wont want to on lsd

When you are coming down way way later it feels real good to smoke and kinda brings the trip back a little

Personally, I like waiting until the peak to smoke, then right after a few bowls I'll start cracking the whip.

If you can get some nitrous, do so.

I personally don't like to smoke with LSD, and it's not that it's bad, I just don't desire it. I smoke any other time, but on an intense LSD trip, I turn it down most of the time.

If you're going to smoke before it comes on or after the peak, then yes go for it. But if you have good acid, then smoking pot during the peak will be a waste of pot.

If you wait until after the peak - that point where you almost don't feel like you're tripping anymore, but if you stop to look you see that you are - if you wait for that point, pot is fucking great! It really brings out the visuals again. But different than the visuals of the peak.

Where as during the peal you se more flowing patterns and bright neon and dayglo type of colors - which I totally love the best, btw. But with the pot you will feel nice and stoned and your brain gets stoned and tripping. And the visuals are now more pastel [I hate pastels, lol] and the patterns are more geographical in nature.

Now I'm assuming here you know what I mean. I've found a lot of people these days are used to taking very low dose acid, compared to what I took in the 80's. For me 3 hits was enough to give such wild visuals. Where as the last few times I tripped - in the late 90's, each time I took 5 hits and got barely any visuals at all. Very disappointing. So hopefully you know what I mean.

If you don't, you really need to take however many hits it will take for you to experience it. For you haven't truly tripped until you have had the northern lights on your retinas...even if you're in the south and indoors....

This has always confused me a bit. I really don't understand why people take acid to get the threshold effects. I mean, sure, pretty lights and trails are all fine and dandy, but it has so much more potential than such mild visuals.

It's also in these low doses that many people will use to judge the drug, which is even more silly than the low dose itself.

Some might argue a higher dose might be too intense for some, but if someone can't handle intense, they shouldn't be doing psychedelics in the first place.

Sorry for derailing the thread. But like I said -- it's all preference. Like SN said, sometimes I don't even like smoking at all, but a nice joint will sometimes add a little fuel to the fire.

I do know what your talking about, to be quite honest I'm not sure how potent the acid will be. I've got some lined up from a mate who is getting it off a dealer he knows, so I'm not expecting it too be spectacular or anything. They are only Tab's too, I really wanted to get some liquid LSD but it's quite difficult to obtain around here.

To the point, smoking some of my weed before I trip would kind of be a waste due to the intense trip from the acid. So it doesn't really alter the trip I'm going to be having on the LSD?

I understand how you can say that everybody needs to have a high-dose trip. It really breaks the doors open. Personally, though, I've had a few high-dose trips, I've smoked all kinds of DMT, I've done all kinds of mixtures, but nowadays, I usually take a lower dose (2-3 hits of what seems to be better-than-average L). It allows me to still function normally and it still throws my head off into space. Don't get it wrong, I'll still have rainbows everywhere, act completely silly and everything will be covered in patterns, but it seems that if you keep your ego about you (after you've experienced losing it a couple times) you can work with the trip so much easier. Instead of holding on for the ride, you can direct the trip to what you need to work on.

Smokin weed whilst trippin on acid kicks ass, I suggest investing in/borrowing a fat bong... Really the only drug I don't like mixing with weed is alcohol, and thats when im pretty well blacked out.. Knocks me right the fuck out... With anything ealse though I steady smoke tha erb..

Everybody I know, including myself, rarely does another drug that doesnt go good with weed. This is why we do not do stimulants.
