raising serotonin levels then taking lsd
If one were to rase there serotonin levels then take lsd would they trip harder? I dont know if this make sence but i was thinking form what i know of lsd it changes the way serotonin is picked up in the brain, so more serotonin beter trip? I was asking becouse a group of people i hang out with take acid and one girl who happens to be on prozack only takes one hit and seams to trip harder then outer same sized girls that take 2 or 3.

I believe that:
No, no noticeable boost in tripping will occur.
Perhaps even a slight dampening of the intensity....

you ask them if you do any drug a lot of time you can kinda tell how strong a trip it is. Like if she said the walls are breathing and the letters on that poster are moving and some one els tells you they dont feel much you can tell she was triping harder.
and yes i have heard of candyflipping but just becouse e effects seratonen doesent mean thats why you get more fucked up if you smoke weed well triping you get higher but as far as i know weed does not increase your serotonin levels.

you should learn at least, the basic functions, of the chemicals you are taking...

Re: raising serotonin levels then taking lsd
well prozac stops seratonin from being absobed by the receptors, and thats also what lsd does i believe, but in a different sort of way, so if the brain is used to having the seratonin being stopped from being reabsorbed, then the trip would probably be less intense.

Re: raising serotonin levels then taking lsd
i'm fairly sure that LSD mimics serotonin on mostly the 5-HT2A receptors in the brain.. increasing regular serotonin prior to dosing would do nothing except maybe hamper the trip because you're giving the LSD less chance to bind to 5-HT2A receptors (because more 5-HT will already be bound)
