Ativan is a personal favorite of mine. It's the first benzo I ever took. Sometimes it actaully makes me anxious, which id odd. Other times when I smoke with it I start to trip! Wierd stuff.

i like ativan a lot becuse its the least sedating (common) benzo, in my opinion, of the ones i have used.

here, i have used ativan, xanax, and valium, both medicinally and recreationally.

ativan is probably the best medicinally because it doesnt have drowsy side effects, only drawback is that it only lasts five hours tops.

recreationally, in my opinion, it goes valium>ativan>xanax

I did not, nor have not till this point seen that post by POC as i generally dont do into threads that ask 'what can i score for or half of the dumbass posts that come along this board everyday as that is a fucking disgrace and an insult to the people who really need those medicines but cant because dumbass like that are the reason why many people dont get the proper medication that they really need. 20mg is a mean ass dose...but I know someone that is the same way due to her long list of Benzo scripts. Are yours prescribed or are you in that place of dependency after the Rx's run out?

OP, you really won't remember a fucking thing. I'd avoid any alcohol unless you like waking up in either a) jail or b) somewhere else besides where you live...like a park...and Ativan is def. has the most sedating effect..I don't find it nearly as enjoyable as something like Xanax or even Kpins.

And you can't get 'pwnt' just because your a new arrival, quit the childish bullshit already. Just the fact that you said xanax and valium where both more sedating then ativan just goes to show that I seriously doubt that you know what you talking about, as out of all those medications Ativan(In the 1st world) is the first line of benzo treatment for insomnia and is almost used exclusivley before Valium in the treatment of short-term insomnia. Shit xanax hasnt even been approved for insomnia and is rarely used for that purpose. And if it is, it is off-label.

And to Before The Opiate: I receive almost all off my if benzos through legal means, as I have had a long, trusting relationship with my doctor; I only seek benzos with outside means if it is something that im not perscribed to or its a rariety. I take 10mg of klonopin daily so if you look at it at that perspective 20mg isnt really that much to handle.

Ive actually been using benzos for the past 8 years, so yeah my tolerance is WAY up there.

And no offense man, but I highly doubt that person died from 30 something mgs of klonopin. I'm willing to bet that there were other drugs involved, most certainly alcohol( if not an opiate or another downer). 30 mgs of klonopin would put somebody in a deep sleep for a number of days(Im guessing anywhere from 3-6), ballpark figure, depending on tolerance, body weight, etc...

And no, thank god my memory is still pretty sharp. I find reading, brain quizes, herbal supplements and just studying greatly improves the memory function. Granted my long term memory is going out the toilet, but its not as bad as you would think. I still remember birthdays, special events, and things of that nature pretty well.

I acutally happen to be on klonopin, valium, ativan and xanax (All most for different means). Klonopin also happens to be my highest dose.

And yea dude, 30+ mgs of klonopin plus alcohol will put somebody 6 feet under. It's a shame that it happend, which is one of the main reasons why im on this board. Educate

well I ended up takin em blacked out and my mom ccalled the cops they made me either go to the hospital or jail so i took the first option and was bac kin a f w hours
