It's not so much a problem with the forum itself, as it is with the attitude of the mods who move threads there. Now that there is a new official "trashcan," it seems like the mods are overly eager to move threads there, even if they are legit topics of discussion. For instance:

That was NOT a troll thread. I am actually curious about the answers, which could reveal something interesting about human nature (and which I think already has). But what are the chances of it getting its full discussion potential while in the "trashcan" of totse? None. Sure, it may get a few posts, but people don't go to the trashcan to have discussions, they go there to look at trash.

I don't feel like posting any more links, but if you take a look at just the front page you will see plenty of topics that are obviously not troll threads and do belong somewhere other than the trash. Just because a mod thinks a topic is boring is not the same as it being trash.

Yeah, some of them may be slightly sucky, but are any of them absolute trash? I could find plenty of shittier threads in other forums, but I'll leave that game up to you.

ell the picture challenge was not an SG type thread -as I said when I moved it. It didn't provide for conversation.

Simple answer question - things that have replies of a sentence or less - don't belong in SG either.

Pretty much all of those threads would have either been locked or moved to HB - the trashcan of the time.

Even before the new forum was here, those thread would not have survived. Moving them gives them more chance than before we had the new forum.

So, nice bitch & moan, but of no use.

Now, if I type a good long b/m thread and its soo epic and awesome. There is a chance it will be moved based on ones opinion. If 2 people reply with 1 line there's a chance it will be moved. I can sit here and say "fuck it, life blows" BUT if its moved 2hrs after posting nobody gets a chance to check it out. Or know it exists. Can I re-word the topic/content, is that a violation of a re-posting? Is the trash can kinda the same as deletion, but not really. I don't mean to ask Q's and seem dumb, but the pissing thread seems valid and interesting.
