Accents
This is pretty much a rip off of some other thread but I'm cool so it's okay.
I like the Northern Irish accent, the Welsh accent and the Australian.
I also like tea.

Re: Accents
I used to fake a not very convincing irish accent when i transfered to a new school. Anytime anyone asked where i was from or how I ended up at that school i would just shrug and smile.
went on more dates then ever that year

Re: Accents
I like Scottish accents. Only effeminate ones though, those deep Glasgow ones freak me out. Also most Scandinavian ones are pretty cool, but again, effeminate. nothing worse than a butch girl, in my opinion. Well, apart from maybe genocide or something.

I've only met one girl from Scotland before, and I could hardly understand a fucking word she said. Maybe she just had terrible annunciation personally or something, I guess.

I think it's probably just me being used to it, I've known a few Scottish people. But then again, some accents are thicker than others; the really broad ones are always a turn off no matter what the accent is.

Re: Accents
I dislike most accents, especially non-native english speakers. Especially chinese and french.
Anybody not from the northeast or without a ny/boston accent sounds slow or dumb. I would never be able to date a southern u.s. girl because I simply cannot stand how bad it sounds.
I'm aware of how ignorant it sounds of me to judge people by their accents, and I know that an accent certainly does not determine one's intelligence, but I can't seem to put a stop to this mentatlity when initally meeting funny-sounding people.
