Darvocet isn't even good for pain relief-- even minor shit. I've tried taking two or three of them when they've been sitting around in my collection for one reason or the other to get rid of some minor sore (insert body part here) and it doesn't even work well for that. If Tylenol is a 1, Darvocet is like 1.25 in terms of analgesic effects.

But recreation? Don't make me laugh...shit's neurotoxic in doses even APPROACHING that of a buzz. Probably get higher eating a poppy seed bagel....

As a great man once said: Darvocet is pretty much recreationally equivalent, milligram for milligram, with water.

Quite frankly, unless you're either paying per milligram or trying to smuggle a thousand doses in your "rearward stashbox," potency doesn't really tell you all that much. (except how to avoid killing yourself)

I think morphine's much less weight-potent than suboxone, for instance. Guess which one an opiate-tolerant individual would rather shoot up for non-maintenance purpouses?

That said, the reason I enjoyed darvocet was its low incidence of side effects. If you're trying to get high off it, you probably want some of those side effects. Like drowsiness. Or that opiate body high I find so disgusting...

...so, you probably won't like it, unless you're one of those people who do, because it's not the most recreational substance out there... but don't think the ED50 tells you anything about the quality of an experience.

I take darvocet all the time and I know it works for me. As for everybody else it just depends on your body chemistry. But I would never ever as a decent human being ask anyone to pay anything for them. I give them away. I get 100 a month but I never take them unless I'm coming down of oxy real hard or I get that irratability from hydros but that's all they're good for, not really good for pain relief.

I've used it with some effect, but by the time you take enough to actually feel anything you are really doing some serious damage to several vital systems in your body.

Two years ago, before i had ever done any opiate, this bitch/crack-head who was living here, gave me 3 or 4 pink darvocets.

I ate them after identifying them, and some time later started smoking cannabis as they were kicking in. it was mild, but it was such a nice combination with that weed.
I did get a nice, kinda different buzz from the darvocets, and at the time wanted to do them again, but since have found bigger & better things.

Yea I actually had them perscribed when I got my wisdom teeth out. They did so little that I just threw them out and used Ibuprofen.
