Default Lucky Dog!

So my dog is deathly afraid of thunderstorms and will tear up the house whever one hits. Long story short, she has a perscription for 2mg bars of Alprazolam (xanax), which is ri-god-damn-diculous considering she weighs only 65lbs.
So obviously I took a few of them and am planning on trying them (for the first time as far as benzos go). I looked at the erowid reports and it seems like most people took 4mg+ for their first time and generally thought that was too much. So Im wondering what a good first dose is - something Id feel and enjoy, but not be overwhelmed by. I was thinkin 1mg max. Also, are there any good potentiators Id find in an ordinary house? Someone on erowid swore by ibuprofen.
Thank all

I'd start with 2mg. It's relatively fast acting so if this isn't enough for you, re-dose accordingly.

As far as I know, any kind of juice high in citric acid will make the onset a lot quicker. As far as potentiate, I'm not entirely sure.

I don't condone stealing meds from people, but I suppose with dogs you can make an exception :p

Unless of course it storms all the damn time.

edit: Wait a sec...aren't all dogs scared of thunderstorms? Hm.

most of em are afraid and cower. This dog gets afraid and destroys furniture, woodwork, rugs etc......
Yeah Id never steal meds from people, but its hard to be sympathetic a dog who cant handle an ordinary natural occurence. Plus the storm season is almost over and there are a lot of pills left.
