And while people might not like stingy people, I think people who are careless with money are fucking retarded. I work part time and go to college, I still live at home and pay car insurance and gas money and it doesn't make any fucking sense not to be smart with your money.

I understand what you mean, I mean whats the point of smoking 2 grams of your hard earned weed with a bunch of random people? I can see how maybe just loading up one bowl then having other people match works. But if you are the ONLY one there with bud it really is a bitch when a bunch of people wanna smoke your shit.

My advice is when you're in that situation just toke up before you go or be like 'hey me and my buddy are gonna run to the gas station real quick' then go smoke and then you don't have to smoke up a bunch of people. It really pisses me off when I buy a 20 and its almost gone at the end of the night cause I smoked up a bunch of fucking people I barely know.

But if its a bunch of your close friends, and ones that will get you back in the future when you're out of weed then by all means smoke them up. Its just the people who aren't gonna get you back sometime is the people I'm talking about.

Whenever I have weed I usually try to share it with people. Usually they return the favor by buying the weed the next time. But then there are people who NEVER buy the weed, it's one of the things that makes me so fucking mad. I have this one friend whom I have smoked my weed with about 7 times for free on his end and he doesn't return SHIT! Then when he lends me like $3 for 7-11 munchies he is on my damn case to pay that shit back, WTF!!!!

Well said! I have had many great experiences, have met many different people and have made a lot of good friends through weed. Some I would now consider my best mates actually come to think about thats how I met the group of mates I hang out with now through weed. I already have experiences with mates that I fondly look back on and will keep with me for the rest of my life. To me theres nothing better than toking up with a good mate because your always guaranteed to have a good time. No ones saying that you have to go shout up like theses no tomorrow. Just shout ur close mates up once in a while the good thing about shouting up ur close mates is that more often or not they will return the favor.

Weed's not really an expensive drug, and it's common as fuck. Where I am, whoever has weed shares it and doesn't have a problem with doing so. I'll happily take a good eighth out with a bunch of mates and come back without it, but then again so will they. And if a few people bring weed, it'll get shared around.

I won't be so happy about doing so at a party or something with people I don't know, but I'm totally happy about rolling up a few spliffs and passing them round the room after I've had a bit, and totally happy about sitting down with a couple of guys I don't know and sharing a jib. It's a social drug, and it pays itself back.

Incidentally, I'm happier about sharing if I have really good weed than if I have mediocre weed (and if weed's shit, it's not worth buying, let alone sharing). It goes a lot further, and it's good to provide some quality draw for people. Goodwill abounds; if a few people remember you as "that guy with the great weed", they'll usually be more than happy to skin up with you or chip you a can or something.

my best friend used to never buy weed, always smoked mine, but now he just got a job handed to him(seriously our coach just asked him if he wants to work for him, kid makes 250 a week delivering machinery parts in a truck) so now he throws down more, so now we smoke like an eighth in a night

I smoke about 10 blunts per day so it's not hard to pass a few of them around when friends stop by or I'm wherever they are.

I knew this guy who only called me up when he knew I had weed. He'd ask if I want to smoke, I say sure, and sure enough he would show up with no weed. I put up with it for a while, because he used to be a friend of mine, but once his true motives were clear I stopped answering his calls completely. To make matters worse, he's a total ass around everyone almost all the time. He strives for attention, and he does it in a negative manner.

Then there are really nice people, who actually contribute to a stoning circle, whether it be by good conversation, humor, or anything of the like. I really don't mind smoking these people up because they're actually nice about it. They even say thanks afterwards. Something the aforementioned guy never did.

If you don't have money to throw up, just be nice. If the person is in a financial position to afford smoking someone up, there's a good chance you will.

If you're a dirty mooch, don't expect much.

It all depends on who I'm with. I've found that some people put in and provide to compliment my own offerings; but then I've also found that some people are tight and never put in.

I'm usually pretty generous with my bud, but usually pass it to my girlfriend since we tend to share the costs.

Bottom line is that if you pass me a spliff of your own at some point I'll reciprocate. I don't stand for leaches, though.

Its fun to share with people. Plus it is quite cheap compared to other drugs out there.

There is definitely a line between smoking someone out and having someone else get high for free. I mean, after all of the pot I have smoked I tend to care less, but it is all about hanging out with likeminded people.

What I would definitely recommend to start off the communal smoking habit is just throwing down with people for a night, as in buying a dime of nugget with 2 other people, smoking it all in a night (not hard to do, but if its quality shit, you will be stoned as FUCK) and then having that sort of bonding experience. The more you become part of the 'exchange' of marijuana, the more you will be able to smoke people out, get smoked out and in general just become part of the stoner community.

Weed is a social drug. While it's great to be alone, get stoned, and watch cartoons or whatever... it's even better to get stoned with people you enjoy hanging around. It brings people together... everyone should return the favor at some point. Someone smokes you up, you aren't obligated to do anything in return, but you should.
