World War III?
So...
A chunk of the middle east is at war, and has been for years, with all kinds of countries over there.
Russia and Georgia are killing each other, and the South Ossetian leader claims 1, 400 civilians dead after bombings and open fires. The states, UN and Nato are all getting involved.
Does this remind anyone else of the Baulken Keg, or am I just a paranoid freak?

The similarities between Vietnam and the War on Terror & this recent episode in Georgia are more striking. (Interfering in what is essentially another country's civil war, starting off with more subversive tactics first).
In order to bear any similarities to the previous two World Wars, WWIII will have to involve competitive empire building. With the current disputes over the Artcic sea bed it isn't implausible.

World War III is such a bad idea it's disturbing to think about, but it's not worth worrying about. Personally, I'm not a conspiracy theorist who believes in the NWO so I don't think I'm going to lose sleep over this.
Although it's unlikely at this point, it does seem like the world is moving in a dangerous position as a whole. Again, I don't believe in the NWO, so I hope the world leaders are smart enough to realize that a World War is bad business in this age of weapons of mass destruction.
