MDMA & tooth-grinding.
This isn't so much of a "how to prevent it" question, but more of a "how should I deal with it now" type question. Tonight I took two pills, and went to a club with a mate. I did everything I normally do, drunk plenty of water, chewed gum, and took regular breaks from dancing. No problem, now that I've just gotten home, I've looked in the mirror, and I've noticed that my teeth are now crooked and on somewhat of an unusual angle, which was not the case prior to me having done the pills.
My first question is, if this is a matter of teeth-grinding wouldn't I have noticed it whilst it was happening? I'm usually very mindful of such things, but I can quite honestly say, that if it did happen, I wasn't aware of it. Which seems a bit odd to me, I would have imagined it would be pretty obvious if it was happening? My teeth are not hurting at all, and nor do they feel any different.. they just look very dismal.
And my second question kind of extends onto the first one.. if it wasn't teeth grinding, what the hell else could it be?
Has this happened to anyone else? (Damage done to teeth), and if so, what happened because of it? Is this sort of thing easily fixed?
(I'm not entirely sure whether this thread belongs here, or elsewhere, so apologies if posted incorrectly).

Re: MDMA & tooth-grinding.
Be sure to brush them before you go to bed otherwise they'll feel even worse in the morning. I suggest chewing on some gum the next time your rolling.
There's not that much you can do for it. It can be one of the side effects which you just gotta deal with. Take the bad with the good. I suggest soft foods and give it time. Time heals all.
You can also try some magnesium supplements (available from health food/supplement shops) can help relax jaw muscles/prevent bruxia when using MDMA.

Re: MDMA & tooth-grinding.
Thanks for the reply. :)
The odd thing is, is that prior to going to the club I went to a supermarket solely to buy chewing gum and water, as I always do, before I did them. The only time I wasn't chewing was when I was drinking the water. So, I'm not sure why it's happened, I've never had problems before.
I guess what's done is done, so there's no point wondering about the why. If I don't do any more E for a while, and eat only soft foods, will they improve at all? Or has the damage been done? I realize that none of you are dentists (well, nobody that I know of anyway), but are they going to look this way forever, or can they kind of... 'repair' themselves?
I'll definitely be looking into the magnesium from now on, thanks for the advice. :)

Re: MDMA & tooth-grinding.
Menthol.
Vick's vapor rub, vick's vapor inhaler, menthol cigarettes, etc...
Rub the vapor rub all along the areas where your jaw is clenching. (On your face, not in your mouth, of course...)
Smoke menthols like a fiend at any chance, and hit up the inhaler as needed.
You will understand...

Re: MDMA & tooth-grinding.
Go with the magnesium suggestion, cos it's the only thing i've found which actually works. To be fair, i've not looked many other places... as magnesium works pretty well for me. At times, i've taken a bit too much, and I get this weird effect where my jaw is so loose it just flaps, instead of clenching... hahahaha.
I don't find chewing gum prevents your jaw feeling sore n worn out the next day, as mine really does if I "gurn" away on E. I can't be bothered with it, as I have impacted wisdom teeth and it's just a bit painful and I don't think does my teeth any good. The only bad thing about using magnesium in my experience is if you take a bit too much, well... some people have sensitive stomachs and then really need a shit.
As for what you can do to fix the teeth thing OP... not very much! Get some calcium in your diet, take care of your teeth, and they'll probably move back to how they were before. I doubt the shift is significant, but if you really think it's a problem... then go to your dentist. Teeth can move around all the time though, especially if they're still developing, which yours might be. Best not to worry about it too much.

Look, his incest-bred crooked grill is probably God's punishment, not my problem.
But if you want to prevent the worst lockjaw... Use mentholated products
