Fill me up!!!
Whats somethign tastey, cheap, and will fill you up?
Latley Iv been eating hot pockets and for me theyr the perfect combo between good taste and keeping me not hungry. At a 1$ a pocket these arent the cheapest fuckers.
What do you eat when you're too lazy to cook, but yet want something good, and wont go by fast?

Re: Fill me up!!!
potatoes are cheap and can be cooked a bunch of different ways. but if you're going for fast, poke holes in one or two and microwave them for like 7 min or longer for softer. add butter, salt and pepper.
or go fishing, and catch dinner, that's always cheap eatin.

anything in your grocery store's local frozen food section, basically. also known as the "lazy ass pop it in the oven or microwave" section. i've been eating a lot of that because of a lack of grocery shopping goin on in my house. i need to buy my own shit.

that shits expensive.
the answer, OP, is pasta. buy bulk dried pasta and rice, and snatch up all the bargains on stuff you can put with it.
it's entirely possible to make a meal for 50 cents that you can't finish because there is so much if you shop smart and keep pasta as the main idea. for meat, which is always nice, you can either buy in bulk, on sale, or steal it. stealing meat can be fairly easy, and you can find sausages on sale or in bulk for a good price.
for 1 dollar, you can have a ton of pasta, some random sauce/butter and spice/olive oil and pepper/ and a nice fat link of sausage. it will fill you up for a long time, and there is endless variety, and it's cheap as fuck.

Re: Fill me up!!!
Frozen pirogies. You can buy a big bulk bag of them for cheap and prepare them two ways, one good enough to serve to company and the other takes like ten minutes of sitting on your ass.
First way (this is how they tell you to make them on the back of most bags):
boil those suckers up for like tenish minutes, then cook them with some nice sauce and veggies.
Second way (lazy way I discovered, they turn out fully cooked, just not crispy and flavorful like the first way)
Put some hot tap water in a bowl and soak the little guys for like five minutes, until they're mushy and unfrozen. Take them out of the water and then microwave them for about three minutes. Then eat them with sour cream/mayo or whatever else you want. I personally like to coat them with super garlicy pesto.

Tip on stealing meat: it often leaks. If you try to steal it by shoving it in your pants prepare for a crotch covered in raw meat juice.

?
i dunno about where you live, but the meat here comes in very tightly wrapped trays. airtight. no juice here.
and if you offered me ten dollars to douse my crotch in raw meat juice, i'd do it. so it'd be worth it anyhow.

Some places fully vacuum pack their meat trays, but not all of them. I'm sure the regulations on that vary by jurisdiction. Hell, even here at the local stores, I can find them fully sealed one day and hand sealed from the butcher shop another. I'm more comfortable purchasing the ones that I can tell are hand sealed, because that means it was more than likely cut in house, and wasn't refrozen afterward.
There's that issue of the fluid leaking, as you're stating, but that's something that can be dealt with fairly conveniently.
