i know there is already a cheating thread but i have my own question.

so me and this girl have started dating and she came completely clean about once before cheating on her last boyfriend.
do you think i should worry about it happening again? her telling telling me obviously means that she is remorseful right?

thats a red flag man, if you aren't too attached to her now i wouldnt be diving in head first into that arena. you do what you want, but thats usually an indicator shes prone to the strange.

Course, does depend on the specifics of her last tryst. jumping ship on a failed relationship is no where near as bad as "it just happened" in my book; your discretion.

Suggest an open relationship, where you love like normal people but go out and fuck other people when you're bored?

I'll bet that 90% of the women who say they've never cheated actually have at some point. This chick gets straight to the point and doesn't make excuses? Sounds like a bonus if anything.

Depending on the circumstances around it and how bad she feels about it, I'd say maybe it's worth giving a chance...

well... it was close to the end of the relationship. she was gone all summer for a college placement thing. and she just started out as friends with the guy and it kinda just escalated is how she told it to me.
she had planned on breaking up with her now ex anyway if that helps?

but yes i do care about her greatly and apparently with how she acts she feels the same for me.
i have wanted her for a very long time and basically she came to me.

and ever since she has told me she has become very insecure. she is always afraid that i am going to leave her for some reason and she is always telling me how amazing i am and pretty much goes out of her way to try to prove herself to me

Just tell her that as long as it doesn't happen while you are with her, the past is just that; the past. Over. But if she does, drop her like a sack of shit.

You don't want her to justify it though... If she says she cheated, and then finishes it off with "but it was because..." then that is a bad sign!

If she was able to rationalize it once, it'll be easier to do it again, and it will only become easier and easier.
