so a friend of mine brought home a gram of this unusual chem from some festival and were about to try it tonight and i was just wondering if any body has any personal experience with this substance?

And would it be ok to mix with shrooms or will they cancel each other out?

DiPT is a strange hallucinogen in that it has primarally aural effects.

well im not sure why i thought they would cancel each other out. I guess its just because i never had any luck mixing RC's with shrooms one usually over powers the other. Thanks for the Wiki link i always forget about that one:o SOUNDS like it will be a interesting night :p

I know personally I would not mix DIPT with shrooms. DIPT is a very odd substance, that's about all I can say. I didn't get any visuals from the substance, sounds were the only thing affected by this compound. I felt sober but it had a different effect on every type of sound that was around me. I tried watching a movie and it sounded like the tv was underwater, talked on the phone with a friend for like 2 minutes and it sounded like he was talking through a voice changer, at one point I forgot who I was talking to his voice was so distorted. I sat on the porch and cars driving by sounded as if they were driving through a tunnel, a bee came to drink from the flowers and its buzzing sounded as if it were being amplified by a megaphone.

I realized this substance didn't have any effects when I went into a silent environment. It was dead silent in my basement when I walked down there to grab some cigarettes and I noticed no effect from the drug. As soon as I went back outside it started with the noise distortions again.

I imagine the mindfuck that comes along with shrooms may be confusing enough without a bunch of DIPT's strange auditory effects. Personally I've tried DIPT four times and I probably wouldn't do it again, it's a very odd chemical.

Ya it was DIPT for sure. We started with an eyeballed dose of 100mg the taste was very rancid then about 30 min later the effects began with extreme nausa and stomach cramps which lasted about 45 min then the visuals kicked in floor shifting walls swaying and this weird strobing effect out of the corner of my eyes.

Then the auditory fucking began the tv sounded like somebody was turning the volume up and down my air
conditioner sounded like a freight train every time we tried to talk to each other it sounded like ya just took a hit of helium.

The body buzz was very strange i felt real heavy one moment then light the next and it felt like there was a fan blowing in my face the whole time. It,s been 12 hours now and things still don't sound normal but i think sleep will be possible soon.
