Enlisting in the Marines.
Well, I'm doing pretty much jack shit with my life so I figure why not enlist in the Marines to become a more efficient criminal. For one, I need to be in better shape and 13 weeks of extreme training will be a good start.
I really don't care about the money, I know my way around guns, though I'm not some incredible marksman.
Oh, and I don't plan on being some super high tech hit man either, more like a bank robber.
Discuss.

Re: Enlisting in the Marines.
I'm going to assume that you have low self-confidence, caused by lack of commitment and external support, underlyingly fueled by lack of motive, to begin with.
So, you're already a criminal. Kindly tell me, what crimes have you committed and what crimes do you plan to commit after being in better shape, physically?
----------------------------
You "need" to get in better shape. Why? If that's your reason, I would gladly link you to some sites that offer extreme training with a completely different underlying theme. You would exercise for yourself, rather than for another person's opinion. High-authority, war-hungry old men, with fixed morals that have been passed on from generation to generation.
To join the Marines, or Army, or Navy, is to give up the limited freedom that you are given in your own body. Unless you already live by Marine standards, you will give up a part of your brain's freedom in order to continue there, even if you were just a student. When called out to fight in war, how else is one able to participate in the most evil of unproductive/immoral practices humans blindly pursue?
You can't just join and leave organizations like that, your records stay with them forever and they will always be able to watch what you are doing. You wouldn't be able to do anything about it, because you would have handed over your life to the government when you signed the papers.
Most importantly, you must consider how easily you are able to be persuaded by their advertisements. Advertisements are no different from each other. From Wendy's to kaBoom to the Marines, pick up on the pattern before deciding to become part of it.

Re: Enlisting in the Marines.
Now what if they say, well son you signed the papers now your getting a free plane ride to Iraq's hot zone for 5 months. Bye! Unless thats what you want. I always wondered why people didn't jack shit like Night Vision or other supply from the army. I think that would be a really good bad idea.

Re: Enlisting in the Marines.
Its one thing to be a Marine, and THEN for one reason or another decide to become a criminal.
But deciding to become a BETTER criminal by joining the Marines is a VERY BAD IDEA.
For one, lets ignore the fact that a HUGE needle of some shit or another gets shoved in your ass cheek when you get there, But all your info, prints, DNA, EVERYTHING ON YOU will be on file.
Now Im no criminal, but dont you want to MINIMIZE the information the authorities have on you?
Besides basic training will NOT make you a better criminal. Sure it will get you in shape. But a fat person holding a gun to a teller pretty much achieves the same end result as a fit person holding a gun to a teller.
Also I assume you will go AWOL after basic. So you will already have cops after you, knowing everything about you. And thats all BEFORE you even commit the crime you wanted to commit.

Re: Enlisting in the Marines.
Ok sorry but i'am kind of hijacking this thread for the moment. What about this, go into basic and attempt to steal all the army's stuff, not firearms but NV and other supply's. how come people can't do that.

I'm sorry to have to point out the obvious, but don't you think that the "army's stuff" would be under more protection than a convenience store, or whatever this guy has criminally pursued? What are you talking about anyway, canned food? army clothes?
What's NV?
I'm certain that there have been attempts, but the reason you haven't heard about those attempts is because those who do attempt it are idiot jack-asses who get caught. Do you seriously think that any wanabe [no offense, you need to respond Kriminalminded] criminal could actually pull of stealing from the army? Where would he put his steals anyway? Up his ass?
