Ok, lol last post PROMISE!

So i leave near a major highway and i counted 45 hub caps around the curve today stuck in traffic. First off are hub caps profitable? And secondly if there worth it, what would be a good way of getting them without getting killed, or getting the cops called for an idiot picking up scraps around a tight curve.

Hmmmm... Sounds like a decent idea. I don't know how much they go for or where they'll take them, but I'm sure someone would take them, especially if they're nice. Even if they're kind of crappy, they could be sold for scrap metal. I've Googled and can't really find anything more.

It'd be a problem matching all the hubcaps up, the people that care about that stuff probably would buy alloys anyway.

However I have read that the people that own Euro' cars will pay good money to get the hubcap to match the one that was lost.

Making up a montage photo of your found hubcaps & posting it on Supermarket notice boards might help.

I see people here are putting a little 'zip tie' on the caps to hold them on.
& also some hubcaps have a phone# on the inside, so its worth looking anyway.

I just hang it on the nearest item, fence, tree, sign etc.

Just get a tire wrench and take off the entire tire, god. Easy 20-70$/tire even more if it's a good rim. Fuck, take all 4 tires easy 200$.

Sigh..Acolyte, please reread my post. I'am not chopping up cars, i'am debating if this would be enough money to go alng side a tight corner that usually full of traffic and get these hubs.
