Smoking pot regularly, or cigarettes?

Some people I know seem to think smoking cigarettes is much worse. And these people seem to think it's OK to smoke pot occasionally.

What is your opinion on this?

smoking pot has more tar or whatever. but stoners tend to not smoke as much weed, compared to a ciggarette smoker who would smoke alot of ciggarettes. i think that makes sense right?

cigs cost more, cause cancer and heart disease, have much more side effects, and are addictive

pot costs less, causes cancer but can also prevent cancer (THC is an anti-cancer agent) and alzheimers, less side effects, but you can lose your motivation.

Canada it's like $50 for the can's of tobacco, i think they have 150 grams in them(im not sure i never buy them). packs of cigs go for 7-15 bucks, fail.

A great deal of the tar from cigarettes stays and collects on your lungs.

I'm not saying it's totally harmless, nothing is, but most of the tar from cannabis comes right back up.

Ciggarettes definatly. Have you ever seen the commercial where the guy cant drink coffee without a cig, well thats cuz alot of cig. smokers do everything with a cigarette. pot all the way

^ thats a very good example. cigarettes arent only addictive, theyre fucking habit forming, in a worse way then any other drug because theyre legal and you dont OD on them and theyre easy to use and socially accepted.

This too, it depends on the way you're smoking it. I'm pretty sure bongs and bubblers that filter the weed through water are healthier as well. Not perfect but better then just straight up smoking it.

the old story is 1 marijuana cigarette contains 3 times the amount of cancer causing tar as 1 FILTERED cigarette. i actually think this may be true since joints don't have filters so more stuff gets in your lungs. But in the long run cigs are worse. fun fact, did you know when you smoke a pre-rolled cig (came lights and others you buy in stores) you are actually freebasing nicotine? thats why the cig companies add those chemicals and also to improve the taste. also most of the tobacco in a cig is just paper that has this liquid they make out of reconstituted tobacco sprayed on it.

I smoke more than average (of cigs and pot) and the pot by far outweighs the tobacco. I might smoke $1-2 worth of tobacco (I smoke rollies) but probably half an eighth minimum ($10-15) of pot per day. Even if I smoked regular cigs, it'd be about 2 packs, so near $6 per day. Still not close.

Before anybody calls bullshit, I live with a roommate who inherited shit-tons of money, and I don't do much besides sit around and smoke. Probably a bad thing, but it's mostly due to not having transportation, which was solved today.
