Any ideas why? Does DHC have a longer onset than im expecting? I would do some mroe extensive research but my net is going crazy (took me about 10 minutes to post this...)

if u dont combine with weed or alchohol you will need 150mg plus.

on saturday night i was baked and dropped a 90mg dhc and within 40 - 60 mins i was fucked up and felt great. just so good to lie there while the opiates wash through your body

oh that sucks. Everywhere online that i saw reccommended 60mg as first time dose. What a heap of shit. Only another 90mg left now and doign the rest now (midnight) would be a waste i would imagine.

Just chill man, for me it could take up to 2 hours for the DHC buzz to hit me. At least 1 1/2 hours...

Did your pills contain any caffeine by any chance? If not and you do just have 90 mg left (and cant buy more, I'm assuming you can) and thats all the DHC you'll have for a while then you might just wanna take it. Save it if you can get more though.

BTW, what kinda opiate experience do you have? People who have done stronger opiates sometimes dont get as much out of DHC as people who've just tried codeine, tramadol, stuff like that. Nothing to do w/tolerance just expectation of a lot more opiate effects than DHC can give. You can nod from it though...

I have no intention of aquiring a habit, so i may just take the last 3 now....sadly i have no weed and barely any alchohol. If i were to drin ksay, a 5th of a bottle of red wine now, would that potentiate it? How much would you normally drink as a potentiator?

Yeah just do this man, it sucks but if you dont feel much at all after 2+ hrs post-dose then you might as well just pop the other three and drink a bit. Better luck next time:(

its not really like ket, its less intense and less likely to scare you, but u can fall into a kinda hole as with ket, i find weed makes this a lot more likely.

Yeah you might have a natural tolerance, and you might as well drink all the wine you have, it might help the DHC kick in sooner (opiate dissolves in the alcohol, then absorbs faster in your stomach lining).

Those weren't extended release pills by any chance were they? I know a lot of places have 60 mg DHC extended release but I dunno about 30..

It is but rarely, usually for headaches/migraines under the brand name Synalgos DC, but its only 15 mg per pill (capsules actually) and it sucks b/c it has caffeine and aspirin, so you have to take a higher dose and wait for the caffeine to kinda start wearing off before you feel the DHC a good amount. The pills are brand name too, so you have to pay more for them than if you got some Vicodin or Percocet (which would be much better anyway to get).

Well i dropped the last 3 and then drank a glass of wine. Feel mildly high but nothing really intense (Less intense than say, being stoned.) Gonna go drink some more wine and watch another few episodes of Spaced i guess. If i get any more i'll save em for when im real high. haha.

+2hrs on dropping the last 3. My pupils are tiny, i feel pretty "drunk" not particularly euphoric but i think my natural balance is alot closer to euphoria than the average... But yeah. Closing your eyes and lying back really makes it nice. I think ima go do that for while. Cheers Spinal!

Hahaha. how long should i wait after just dropping once, before my tolerance should be completely back to normal? I am aware tolerance builds very quickly...

it takes at least a week of daily use for any significant degree of tolerance to develop.

youre good to go again, but yeah this time take a little more... maybe 150-200mg, smoke some weed or do a few shots of alcohol, kratom also works well for potentiation. Lie down with some mellow music playing and enjoy 4 hour bliss.

Sometimes codeine doesn't hit people that hard, the first time they try it... other opiates too, it can take a while to "adjust" to the effects.

If you have zero opiate tollerance, and you're taking genuine DHC pills which aren't some crappy Indian ones which could potentially be low potency... I wouldn't try 200mg. Try maybe 100mg in a few days, and wait n see if it hits. You can always use grapefruit juice to potentiate it, but probably best to leave that out until you're sure what kinda dose feels good. I know for me, I get mild euphoria and I feel great chilling out off about 80mg of DHC, or 200ish-mg of codeine phosphate.

Necking loads of booze or smoking loads of weed probably isn't the best idea, until you're sure of how strong it is. I dunno, you could just have a naturally high opiate tollerance, but even still drinking lots and then taking high doses of DHC probably isn't the best idea. Codeine's subtle anyway; all warm n fuzzy, and alcohol can drown the effects out.

What a waste. The only time I did codeine I took 400mg and felt great.

How big are those pills? If they're small enough you could maybe try snorting them, that'll make em hit you faster/harder and it'll take less, and you can redose within 15-20 minute intervals.
