Better Living Through Chemistry Discussions of any and all sorts of mind-warping chemicals, pills, booze, mind machines, trippy stuff, current street prices, importing pharmaceuticals, smart drugs, nutrients, herbs, and altered states. Please try to keep your conversations "theoretical" in nature, since this is an open conference.

Default Ectasy question

This is more of something i was wondering than something i actually plan to attempt.

What would be the plausibility of using using chewing gum as a binder for ectasy? You can get kits online for relatively cheap. Then when you wanted to roll you could just pop and piece of gum chew and swallow.

The only problem i really see is when your are making the gum you have to heat the components to a molten state. Since it can be done in microwave i can't imagines it's too hot, but would it be hot enough to destroy the e?

Also imprinting could be done by the average person instead of a press.

Like i said more of a wondering of mine than an actuality.

For once.. I actually don't know.

You have forced me too think, I hate thinking.

*thinks*

Anyway, from what i remember pure mdma crystals melt at 250 degrees farenheit, if theres any cut or such it will just turn too slop and/or burn when you try and melt it. I do know that heat from fire, even a small flame will burn mdma... a bic lighter for example is probably somewhere around 400 degree's farenheit so I'd say if it was heated too anything below 300 farenheit you'd be safe and it wouldn't burn but don't quote me on it im not a chemist or anything.

sine your stomach cant actually digest gum i assume that if you were to wrap mdma inside gum the gum would act as a safety shell and keep it from getting in your system.....this does seem plausibly for smuggling mdma on planes though....hmmm....instead of he whole condom thing....anyone see any flaw in that?

Your stomach can dissolve gum, but it would take longer. Why would you wanna wait like an hour or whatever for the E to kick in?

Your stomach can digest gum, and at the exact same pace that you would digest any other food. Yes, it puts more strain on it, but it will still go at the same rate as anything else.

Judging by your name, I assume you know a thing or two about the GI tract. :D
