does anyone do this? like go to work and/or school during the day, then go to bed for like an hour, wake up kind of in a trance, put on different clothes and go out and spend all night out and about, taking the piss or just wandering around or car shopping or whatever? i mean this is our youth, we won't be able to have such stamina when we're older. perhaps we should seize the day and do something like this. imagine how much more time you'd have available to have fun while still holding down a job.

as for sleep, well i guess you'd still manage a few hours a night, maybe some in the late afternoon/early evening, and occasionally catch up on the weekends or some shit. man i kind of want to do this now.

To do this would take a lot of time and endurance. Ya, its possible to a point. Once things become confusing or its hard to make sence of something is when you know you've created your 2nd self. I have had a 4 month problem with that actually. I didn't want it. But the morning I woke up in my backyard (nothing crazy), It made me scared. GETTING RID of this condition is hard as balls, so piss off if something bad happens.

People (even in youth) can only tolerate acquiring little or no sleep for a certain amount of time (how long depends on a number of factors). After that, your brain and body begin negatively acting out.

Even if you decide to ignore or somehow circumvent those reactions, your health, in the long run, is going to hell.

It's doable but it totally depends on how you want to split up your time and it usually leaves room for nothing in your normal social life (I dont care though .. loners FTW! ) .. It depends if you want this part time or full time , usually part time would be on fridays/weekends where you have time off anyway, or it could be for all the week and get rest on the weekends ..
For the weeks:
You have 24 hours a day.
School/work etc takes up 8 of those hours at least.
Sleep depends on part time/full time status, 8 hours is good if you can get it, but I can get along with 4 hours a day fine if I need to, just depends on the person, look into polyphasic sleep methods.

So you have around 8-12 hours 'free' per day, lets say you do two-phase sleeping, two hours in the morning and two hours in the evening, so your time would be divided up like this;

6am:sleep 8am:leave for work/school, eating on the way 8:30: get to school/work, change your clothes there to keep time up .. soon after go in to work/classes .. If you need to you can squeeze in half an hour of sleep at lunchtime, but make sure you have enough food. 4pm: get home. sleep for two hours 6pm: have food (lots of it, enough to last you through the night as you usually dont eat much at dinner as you sleep most of the night) , 6pm-6am FREE TIME

Now here's what I'm saying with NO social time, this also depends hugely upon family/housemates/SO's , if you can get your partner to go along with you then so much the better
Now theres probably not much to do from 6pm to 10pm in terms of people being around outside, so that can be your studying/social time etc etc

Just a few thoughts ..

dudes i made this thread when i was piss tired last night and didn't want to go to sleep. for some reason i desired to go out and cruise around in my car, pretending gas don't cost shit and i'd have somewhere at least mildly interesting to go to. then if i could just come home when i want to and go to work without feeling like shit, i'd be in the zone. all i ended up doing was browsing totse.

i stayed up until i felt nauseous and had to go to sleep. when i woke up, that feeling was still with me and i just felt sluggish all day at work. this was on 3 and a half hours sleep.

Hah, I've done that before. Shit sucks especially when you can't hang out with a few people.
