from lucky to fucked
i know this isnt my blog, but maybe i can get a little advice.
heres the story:
i go to a day treatment facility 5 days a week. its a combo drugs+ other life problems counseling center type thing. so today, i get told by a friend there that he has some painkillers, and he'd give me a great deal.
we have a "secret" hiding spot in the bathroom, and they were in there. turns out he had no idea what it was, because i gave him $5 for 10 5mg oxy pills (512 markings) which comes to 50mg oxy for $5...........lucky right? wrong....
later on that day, they had a random search ( the 2nd one in 6th months......) when the guy got searched, he had the money on him, which you arent allowed to have there. when i got searched, they found the oxy.
the cops got called, we had to fill out statements, and he got sent to talk with human services. i have a court date set with the judge 2 months from now........
any advice/comments/flames/whatever?

my tolerance is actually pretty low right now, so at 50mg, id be pretty noticable

its a court order. your there from 8-3 mon-fri, no exceptions....unless i walk out the door, which in that case they restrain you until the cops arrive.

Fuck, I hate their restraining techniques. Makes me want to go back to my rehab and torture every one of those assholes that would lay their filithy hands on me at a moments notice. They get away with doing sick shit that the public never sees all in the name of "maintaining order." Somebody should expose those cuntrags for the dirty filth they are.
OP, how old are you? Why didn't you just do the deal after the rehab was over, at like 4?

17, although when i registered i accidently put like 22-24 or somthing
after rehab, theres a van/shuttle type thing back home, and the guy dosnt ride the same one as me, so that plans dead. ( we also live in different towns, but that isnt a huge issue)
im also on ankle braclet/house arrest for 3 more weeks (thats when my random drug testing ends also)
as for the "restaining techniques" you make it sound like you got raped or somthing. but yah, it can be over-the-top at times. last kid the had to restrain had 4 decent size males (all 5'7 to 6'1 & about 150-200+ lbs) all gang tackle him. pretty funny shit when its not happening to you

Re: from lucky to fucked
One of my buddies got caught with dilaudid's and like a few 40mg oxys and only got like a week in jail. But he had no record, so you on the other hand might get fucked over a lot harder. Like I've never had a personal experience with THAT type of situation, but it seems like they'd probably make you stay in rehab longer, and be on house arrest longer. Or they might just make you go to jail, probably get put on probation too. But it's not the end of the world, it's gotta end eventually, just don't get into trouble again. It's not like they're gonna give you the death penalty for have a few oxys (they might make each pill a seperate like count or whatever, not sure how that works, but that would definitely blow).

your rehab called the cops on you? arent they just supposed to make you feel really bad for relapsing and punish you in the program not in real life?

It's probably a different situation because a guy in the program sold drugs to another guy in the program, and because they found them. I'm sure if the OP failed a drug test they wouldn't call the cops.

Re: from lucky to fucked
Plead guilty cause you know what you did, and now know why this is happening to you?
Exactly. You're still young, which is good and bad. It's good, because you're still a minor so all of this shit can be dealt with in a not-so-bad way.
I don't know about your prior charges or what the case was where you were court-ordered to attend this rehab(keep in mind, attend. You still had freedom, you weren't thrown in handcuffs and sent off) but now you've fucked it up.
All of this in general really doesn't seem too bad, if you were living here and you had these trips, you'd most likely be sent to a residential rehab program. That means you have to live there, not attend it.
Don't think that you can play the law, once you're in it deep enough to be confined(this 8-3 thing is bullshit, sounds like some minor juvenile family court rehab type shit) the law will play you. To be placed in a rehab system like that, I'm sure you were discharged from random bullshit drug classes or had dirty drug tests in the past.
If you've already fucked up to the point where you are confined, you should know what's up.
I stated why this situation is good.
If you were to hire a lawyer, no matter how much money you'd spend, I can guarantee that he'd tell you to:
Grow Up.
Most people have a chance to do all the drugs they want and fuck around, but you lost that chance. You're not like everyone else. You need to grow up fast or the system will fuck you over.
There's not much I can say to you at this point.
I know you were saving the opiates for after you finished your treatment, but...
Lay off the drugs for a while, I know you love them but you're only 17. You don't need them. You have your whole life to use them ahead of you, what's being clean for a half year? Nothing.
That's the only way you'll get out of what you've got yourself into.
I'm sure all of your charges and cases will be dismissed after you give the system clean drug tests for a half year and show them that you've 'turned a new leaf'. Then you can indulge in all the drugs you want, but you have to play it smart or you'll be fucked a hundred times worse then some bullshit rehab.
If you continue down this path, you'll find yourself in jail. You're life is in the law's hands now, but your destiny is in your hands. Don't think you're an exception to the system and that you can get around it, just do what you have to do and.. guess what? Things will work out. It's only easy.
I know you don't know me, but take it from me - jail is not a fun place to be, especially if you're having drug withdrawl symptoms.
Sorry for preaching, but I'm just throwing some advice out into the air. When I was in your position, I chose not to take it, thinking that I was the man. Maybe you will think differently. Think about it, boss!

Unless, of course, you think that using drugs is worth the consequences for dirty drug tests and such. If so, then use all you like, and you better have fun and make it worth it! :)

thats life, I've gotten unlucky plenty of times myself, but since you have to go to some rehab place or whatever i suggest you grow up and not risk anything, no matter what, you don't want to fuck up the rest of your life just so u can get high and shit, even though it's stupid and unfair, im sure you've noticed this is how the world works.

I did that so idiots like BLTC can understand it.
But I guess it didn't work.
phlegm - Nice to see you sir, I'm great. Clean and sober for a few months, just recently got out of lock-up, going back soon for a while. I fucked my life up with the help of meth, but I'm getting back on track.

Re: from lucky to fucked
I agree with what Whatever1 said. That is my attitude on that whole thing because I am on probation for pot and alcohol and I get drug tested too. At my treatment I just lie and realize all the "negative" consequences of using marijuana and they think that I am doing a good job and actually learning, when in reality I do not give a fuck.
I have 6 months on probation and I'm staying clean from weed because I know that if I just play their little game, go through my treatment and test clean for 6 months, I can get off then smoke all the pot I want. But if I was to smoke pot now I would get MORE time on probation where I can't smoke, MORE treatment, MORE consequences, possibly jail time.
You just have to realize that in the end you being high for a few nights isn't worth going through a ton of extra legal bullshit. It really does suck sometimes so I can relate there, but I know in the end my tolerance will be zero and I will get super blazed without having to worry about any consequences.
