what's next? Must post recipe and not be too complicated. I did tempura last week.

Shrimp. Go get yourself a dark ale of some nature, use it to make beer batter, and do some battered shrimp. Cocktail sauce, beer, and deep fried shrimp sounds like a brilliant afternoon to me.

Vegtables, they taste really good deep fried. Green beans are really good and squash is awesome deep fried.

Excellent, I have some shrimp I'll set to thaw out.

I'm thinking of some fish and chips... any one have personal recipe they like the best? I will be using cod.

I will also deep fry a twinkie.

The fish is pre-battered (frozen)? Or you're going to batter it yourself?

If so, the same beer batter recipe that I suggested for the shrimp would probably work great for some fish strips.

I live in Wyoming. I'd kill for REAL fish & chips.
