Default How do you feel about stay at home husbands?

It looks like thats the direction I'm going in. I'm at a community college for 4 years changing majors and getting business degree which is pretty much just to say I have a degree.

My girlfriend is going to a university with a major in biology and her dad is rich and has the hookup with science jobs.

Will it be looked down upon if I am a stay at home loser husband who posts on totse and makes my wife dinner for the rest of my life?

Sex and Affection.

I would gladly be a stay at home husband if I did not live in the city or suburbs, but somewhere tropical and biologically and ecologically rich in exotic things.

Id rock that shit - you get to play with your kids everyday, work on DIY home projects (i love that shit) and all you gotta do is cook meals, lie back and think of england all the while your working partner builds up some steady guilt and ends up buying you a motorbike or other great toy for you birthday.

Its a fucking GREAT deal, bitches in the 50s didnt know what they were protesting against, i would sign the contract anyday.

...I don't think you really understand what the 'job' really entitles.

Anyway, times are of course changing, but of course everyone will jump to tons of conclusions when they hear a man stays at home instead of working. But I don't understand, why would you be staying at home? Couldn't you just get a job, even part time, with your degree? Mean business is a good one to have if you know what to do with it.

But potentially depending on how good of a student you are you could just stay in school and go for a professional degree, in any subject. Then you'll avoid all the bs judgement about how 'you don't work' and 'are laczy'. What do you really want for a future job? Use that answer to help you figure out degree to pursue. Easier said than done though, I personally have to force myself to go to school and it makes me sad thinking about how much more I have to go through.

But you could try getting a job that you could do from home. I've seen a 'secretary' like job that you basically answer redirected calls from a law office or something similar and then just use a calendar program to update the one in the office. But as long as you don't have any kids, staying at home should be pretty decent... to an extent. As long as you don't let all the crap get to you.

Nothing wrong with that my friend. My girl (future wife) will probably make more than me for a long time. I would gladly stay at home and do the laundry, cook, clean and have dinner on the table. I know women like to bitch about how hard it is being a stay at home wife, but it isn't as tough as some of the jobs I have already had. Fuck it I'll even give her a foot rub and whatever else she needs nightly. Just bring home the cash.

That would be my favorite thing. The DIY projects. I'd have all kinds of cool shit with my wife at work all day.

No stay at home job is nearly as bad as a job outside the house. You are your own boss. Even if there was a shit ton of work to do I'd still blast some fucking metal and be naked while doing it.

As far as what I want for a future job I'm not sure. I thought I wanted to be a mechanical eng. but one day while spending an hour making a screw I decided thats not what I want. I enjoy computers, chemistry, drawing, writing, etc, but I really don't want to go to formal education for this stuff, as its really gay and retarded. I enjoy learning things on my own, except I know that won't do much good in the real world without qualifications.

Honestly I just want unlimited time to figure out what I want out of life.

Of course all of this is hypothetical. I joke with my girlfriend about her going to work and letting me stay in her giant house, and she's like "haha yeah right your paying for half with your shitty job" and I really hope she's joking because fuck that.

Look at it this way, if you're good looking you can be considered a trophy husband, which isn't.... terrible.
