I have been wanting to try codeine syrup "lean" for quite some time now. I have been currently staying in Mexico for the summer. I have heard it's not that hard to get over here. Yet, nobody has been able to tell me exactly how to go about getting it. I have asked several weed dealers about it and they have said they knew very little about it.

Does anybody have any experience buying it? What type of prescription is needed? Is one even required here in Mexico? I have heard about prescription buying. Does anybody have any experience with this? Is it expensive? Around how much should I be ready to pay for the prescription/syrup or both? I hope its not two many questions.

I hope the above questions don't come off as trolling. Any answers will be appreciated.

If you want to some pres get something better, don't settle for codeine.

And as far as i know you don't need a prescription for most of the drugs over there.

My brother walked into a pharmacy in Rocky Point and got 10 percs for $20 with no problem. He said they called a guy and some guy drove it to the pharmacy in a blister pack.

You probably do need a prescription to get them legally, but a lot of mexican pharmacies are crooked and will sell you drugs that normally require a prescription regardless. Something as mild as codeine you could probably get at most pharmacies, just go ask around.

coideiene is generally not used in "syrup" as it was replaced by DXM becaues of its mild sedative abilities (IMO lol @ that DXM is far more powerful than codiene) so ur probably looking at pills. im not sure but maybe ur thinking of "purple drank"? with the promethazoine or something.

coideine is alright its worth trying it just remember lookout for APA.

its usually used as an enhancment to mild pain relief i.e. panadiene plus (thats what i used)

Codeine is a strong cough suppresent and a mild pain reliever available in prescription in most countries. And one of the things that made codeine well liked was the sedation that came along with it, which DXM doesnt have. And just so you know, if codeine was ever stopped in cough medicines it would be from the addiction potential, not the 'mild sedative properties' . DXM is used as a mild cough suppresent and is legal pretty much everywhere, just walk to your local drugstore. DXM has never and will never replace codeine as a cough suppresent. And the kid said hes looking for syrup, not T'3s you idiot.

Yeah man, look for alot of painkillers, I am pretty sure they usually pack it in with analgesics and you will have to cold water extract it or you will have quite the upset stomache :p

Painkillers ARE analgesics. From acetametaphen to oxycodone to morphine, there all analgesics. There one in the same

And a CWE is only necessary when you have an analgesic that contains a large amount of acetametaphen or some other chemical that your liver cannot handle in large doses.

Please be careful buying pills in Mexican pharmacies!

While you can probably score some codeine without a problem, looking for anything harder (oxy, hydro, etc) without a prescription could land you in hot water.

I've heard a few horror stories of people being set up by trying to purchase drugs like oxy from pharmacies or taxi cab drivers...it goes something like this:

Dude tries to score by asking pharmacy emplyee/taxi cab driver for "pills". Pharmacy employee/taxi cab driver sets them up so that the police get involved, thereby reaming your ass for every drop of cash you have to buy your way out of jail.

This is possibly a bit far fetched, but it has happened, I've heard stories from reliably sources, and it isn't worth the risk.
