Art and Design If you like it, is it Art? What is the difference between a good design, a bad design and bad taste? Does form follow function? If something works, does it matter what it looks like?

Default Hitler's Paintings

They are actually (most of them) really well done. (Google: Hitler paintings) Does anyone else find it interesting that not once is a portrait painted? There are only strong, timeless and and callous structures, hmmm....

It is, indeed, worth noting that his stray from arcritecture and innanamate things was to paint a picture of Jesus and Mary. I wonder why, especially considering his obvious talent at it, he didn't do it more often.

I'd hang it in my living room. I just wouldn't tell people who painted it.

I've read that his sister said after he died that he should have continued being an artist/painter instead.

They seem kind of, I don't know... sterile? I don't want to seem like I'm judging them harshly because they were done by Hitler, though. If some random kid showed me them and said they were his, I'd say he had some natural talent that would do well in art school, but I don't think I'd call them 'amazing'. I'm not a professional art critic though, so what do I know?
