So me and my girl have been steady for a good 6 months now.

My dad recently told me I have until the end of the fall semester to move out of my house. He said he'd help me a bit at first, but I'm getting a decent job so its not a big deal.

My girl doesn't really like living in her house too much, like how I feel towards mine, and the subject of her moving with me was brought up. She has a job, and is gonna go through our school to get something higher pay.

A one bedroom would do for us, but should we invite someone else to live with us (2 bedroom) as well to ease the money concerns? The people we would invite would most likely not go to school and only work.
Wouldn't it be weird to live with a couple?

Yea, it probably won't cost me too much. Its basically just the private space for us, study time and other times, and the weird/awkwardness for the 3rd party that gets me thinking.

What happens if you two break up?

I can't believe it's even a question. I could understand if your best friend needed a place to stay, but even then, inviting a stranger to live with you is the stupidest idea I've ever heard unless you plan to convince them to threesome...

I'm 18 and I have 4 roommates.

Ones a couple in their late twenties.

Another is a 23 year old guy.

The other is a 23 year old girl.

It's a cool situation I guess but that's because there all super chill people so we don't bicker much. It's also definetly not a one bedroom place. You could end up with some deuschebags and that fucking sucks, because well you live with them. My last two roommates sucked but whatever that's neither here nor there.


The only thing that is weird is everyone can pretty much hear everyone else fuck at odd hours of the night. First it was mildly entertaining and now it's just redundant.


If you can afford it I suggest you live there with just your girl. Hard to put a price on privacy. But if you can't afford it just you two it's not the end of the world. Just make sure it's someone you can get along with.

Yeah, my girl is leaving for college so im trying to find some roommates.. I dunno i would try to make it just you two. Cause i can guarantee that there will be times when you just want to be alone together and having roommates would make that hard. Shit if it wasnt for my girl leaving for college id be all for just me and her living together.

I did that for a while, it was pretty much I had my own room but basically stayed in the livingroom all day/night and just slept in my room and they just stayed in there room/went out, but we worked together and I grew up with the guy.
